- Check out this video to find out how I use the ancient principles of the Roman arch as I lift off the shell of this 1969 vintage Overlander. I used 12.5 ton hydraulic jacks like this one....

....but if I had to do it over again (and I just might on another project) I would use this lift

Just came across your video. Thanks! We are getting ready to lift shell of our 1962 Bambi. Been in the yard since 2001. At age 74 now or never. Like your video. As they say the devil is in the details and I like the detail in your video.
Keep building Jim!
Hi Jim my name is Clive and my wife and I just purchased a 1985 25’ Excella. It’s gonna be a complete rebuild on the interior and subfloor and new axles. We live in Palm Bay Fl. I’ll be following you and showing my wife so that she sees what we will be doing on ours. Best of luck to you and I look forward to your new videos.
Good luck Clive and thanks for sharing. I’ve been really busy but hoping to post a new video or two soon. I know I’m due. Keep in touch!
Thx and happy new year, great video as always.
Are you going to do a video on restoring the frame
It depends on who and where the work is being done. Mine will likely be done offsite since it needs work beyond my abilities. I did start to prep the frame. We shall see...
Ok thanks I’m getting ready to take my floor up on a 57 airstream your floor removal really helps great video I will keep my eyes out to see your next video
How bib the end cap get out I will start this summer on my 1972 argosy
I cut a small section of the end cap (the 3"x4ft cross piece under the window) and I was able to feed it through the door. I am glad I kept it because I may reused it!
