- We bought a 1973 Airstream Safari! We found an Airstream while traveling on the west coast in our Toyota RV, and decided it was time to start a new project! We will be completely renovating this airstream from the ground up. This is our second time around renovating an RV, so this will be an interesting experience!

We’ve been working up to this big moment for months now! We finally reached the point where we are ready to lift our Airstream off the frame! HUGE GULP. We have combined the last 3 weeks of work into this one episode. We worked on the frame, and got it ready to be painted, as well as built a bracing structure on the interior of the Airstream. This was a family effort from both sides of our family, and we are so incredibly thankful to have a family that gets just as excited as we do about crazy projects like this!

Helloooo friends! We've been grinding away (literally) on this project! We've hit a huge milestone in this renovation...the ever daunting shell removal! Getting to this point took several weeks of prep work, and a few bumps on the head to get to this point haha! Now it's time to fix up this 47 year old frame and install our new subfloor.

Way to go on another awesome vid. Honestly when Tommy was removing those bottom panels I thought some dead was going to fall out. Socks with flip-flops!! I thought your parents raised you better :) The look on face when you all were doing the lift and it popped was priceless! Can't wait for the next one.
