- In the 1950s, a pilot was flying a route that he had flown many times before in the past. To him, it was just another flight out of the many he would have to make every single week. But little did he know, that flight would be nothing like anything he had ever experienced. In fact, it would be nothing like anything anyone on EARTH had ever experienced. And it would result in one of the craziest stories the world has ever heard...

If I were in his place I would have never wanted to go out of my house because I would be scared of clouds. The trauma from that incident is enough for anybody to live with fear for the rest of their life.

thank you! I have a wide catalog of websites and forums that I've found over the years that cover really interesting stories so I source from those, but some stories are definitely audience suggested as well! you can always send story suggestions to the email in this video's description box if you have one :)

man that was quite the ordeal for sure. he was pretty much at the mercy of the clouds. glad he managed to live to tell the tale.
Everytime he was hit by an updraft he lost a small peice of hope he didn't even know he still had

Andy is amazing at telling stories
I read Rankin’s book a very long time ago. I was still in school. This telling was very dramatic and interesting, but there’s more details in the book.
By the way, he was flying a jet, and that thump he heard was the emergency generator deploying because his jet had lost all power.
