- If you traveled 10,000 years into the future, what would planet Earth look like? Would most of its surface be covered in volcanoes? Or would it be frozen in ice? What if you traveled even further, to one million years in the future? Would all of the oceans have evaporated? Or would it have become one giant water world? Now, what about one billion years? Would there be any humans left? Or would they have settled in other parts of the galaxy?

I would honestly be surprised if the earth was habitable in 200 yrs.

That's exaggerating. Earth may be still habitable for million years. Humans did barely anything. It's more like humans can be extinct but other organisms would still live. That still makes an earth habitable.

Man, I really hope there's some form of continuity after death. Even if it's just limited to sight, I want to see parts of the universe and whatever is beyond it. Yes, there is continuity when you die. And yes you can travel and see whatever you want, afterwards. I’ve been to places and seen things outside of this world that I can’t put into words, I wish I could. I’m not spiritual or religious, etc. it’s just an ability I was given. So then you’d have to travel back in time and if you want to travel back in time there’s no way you can do that even if you can move at the speed of light.

What's interesting about all of this, is the fact that this is what would happen if all natural processes were to continue without intervention. But, assuming we haven't died off or moved to another planet by that time, we would certainly have the technology to say, stop an asteroid from colliding, or letting our moon get too far away. We are talking millions of years and look at our technological growth in just 100. Again assuming we are still around at that time, I seriously doubt most of these things would be a threat to us anymore.
We will probably not even be around in a million years. We would probably have killed ourselves by that point.

Whatever "us" might mean. Judging by how quickly the interface between the human brain and our gadgets has become more transparent (think of the distance between patch cords & punch cards to speech and gesture recognition) , it's reasonable to imagine a sort-of cyborg-like humanity rather long before we've set out for the nearest stars in colony ships built from hollowed-out asteroids.
