Great look at a UK built (I assume?!) glass fibre BR20 with the marconi rig option. It is interesting to compare with mine which is an Australian built epoxy ply version with the gunter yawl rig. I have made some mods to my boat along similar lines to some shown here (e.g. electric bilge pump to offload waterballast and I am in the process of converting to electric power but am struggling with the fit of the outboard & prop through the flaps in the well slot. I am using a LIFEPO battery $$$! for the weight saving.) I also use a remote controlled electric winch for loading on the trailer singlehanded (an excellent addition). I can confirm these boats sail as well as they look and are one of the most seaworthy open boats of this size on the market AFAIK.
Nice review Roger. Been looking at this and the Expedition specifically and they have a lot of advantages over the Lugger. Possible next boat for me. Need to start saving up!!!
