That Superman figure reminds me of my first and still unopened Toybiz Omega Red figure having two right hands.

The dc essentials Superman is pretty good, probably my favorite Supes figure..only complaint is wish he had a cloth cape

Sick review! To address the Alien, this is using a mold NECA has been using pretty commonly. They do things kind of like Marvel Legends where they have a handful of different body molds that they use, occasionally kit basking and retooling them for various different appearances. All of them have amazing details though, the main detail that set this Xeno apart from others is his awesome purple dome color. Otherwise he’s a pretty standard Xeno, but definitely using one of the best body molds.
You should have done a funny shot at the end with him lasering off his extra right foot!!😂🤣
You definitely need to pick up the Essentials Superman before you do the comparison! I absolutely love that figure!
Bill Berger Really? Been debating about picking him up. I feared he was too tall and lanky and not bulky enough for my taste. I’ve never watched a review on him yet to see in person; posed up.

Yes! Got my Father's Day gift from my awesome son and it was the sdcc bundle pack! First thing I checked was if my Superman had two left feet! (Cause yours had 2 right feet)Fortunately everything looks like they were on point with the QC.
Great review brutha but the QC issue your having doesn’t surprise me very very typical with neca figures still the best looking Superman figure up to date to me

Had an isse with a TNMT from the 90's movie, bought them from the US thanks to a good friend of mine. Even if I had in the box for months and took em out just recently, I 've emailed them and they sent me a replacement straight away! NECA CS is one of the best ones! Oh, almost forgot... I'm in Italy, so pretty sure they will fix your foot issue in a blink of an eye :)
My fav superman is the one from dc films line made by dc collectibles. I repainted him in metallic blue and boy oh boy.
Your Superman actually has two right lower legs if you look at the sculpting on each calf they are identical

Neca does some fantastic sculpts, too bad about the quality of the plastic and the QC issues but they still look very nice. Hey Wade how come you didn’t review the Soverign?
It's surprising you don't have any aliens. This is a really nice alien but there are more awesome aliens like this. Mantis alien. Gorilla alien. Scorpion alien. Snake alien. They are all awesome! I recommend them all. Oh yeah let's not forget Queen alien.
I have no real interest or connection to Aliens or Predator but HOT DOG that Alien looks incredible
Superman looks really nice and is definitely a good contender for the best comic Superman around that size. I feel like Superman doesn’t have quite as many nice figures as other guys like Spider-Man, Batman, Wolverine etc. I don’t think the definitive Superman for me has been made yet

Once you buy something from Neca you end up down the rabbit hole collecting all their horror movie characters, aliens and especially their predators. The nicest looking aliens are from the arcade line because of the paint work, but plus they have the new upgraded articulation on par and better than the ultimate lines. With predators, it's the ultimate line and avp figures that end up getting the most shelf real estate. Their new upcoming alpha predator has me really hyped. I avoided the lines, feeling the same way as you and collect/focus on pretty much the same stuff you do but I slipped up and bought a predator figure(ultimate ahab) and next thing I knew I was buying neca stuff voraciously. Predators and classic horror characters are my favorite mainline stuff from them but my tmnt movie figure sets have become some of my favorite things out of everything I collect. Was fortunate to get the splinter set that comes with shredder and some foot soldiers from a friend that went to sdcc this year.

Don't know, man, to me at least it seems like this is the best Superman figure of this scale
My Netflix Marvel Legends Daredevil has two left shoulders but I love this issue, my Daredevil is unique.

This alien resembles the Alien v Predator movie action figure alien with different legs. Originally it already was a great figure but this new one you're reviewing is so awesome and massive looking than the original because of the legs. Btw i have almost every alien neca's made if not all. I love specially the blacked out head. So yes understandably you are to admire this one a lot.
That's the Alien: Resurrection Warrior repainted with a purple hue.
Hopefully, you can compare this Superman and the others to the DC Icons Superboy and Supergirl. I'm looking for the perfect superman to go with them.

Even though this 2 pack is pretty cool the Batman v predator 2 pack was way better the armored Batman is freaking amazing!!!
Just got my Superman figure in lucky enough that he’s perfect close call I was worried
Yo if possible I would love if you could compare him to the dc essentials Superman. I’ve been really wanting a good Superman in 1/12 or 1/10 scale without breaking the bank. Unless it was super legit. Seeing that this guy is prone to QC issues I’m less likely to brave the secondhand market. (Idk eBay pricing on Neca Superman yet).
If the waist actually swivels then that looks like the best Superman figure we've gotten in a long time. Sucks about the QC issues though. NECA figures tend to have tons of issues
I think that this alien figure is new, actually it looks like an alien from alien resurrection , neca does not put them up for sale yet, if I'm no mistaken
4:13 there is a different type of alien figure that does not have the dog type of legs. And they also recently started the Kenner aliens and those are unique sculpts

Neca Aliens are great! But if you're not a completionist, it all comes to taste, for now I only have 4, each representing a movie and each in different colors so they pop more in the shelf.
There's the movie stuff, the Kenner tribute stuff, the arcade based stuff, just a whole lotta stuff, so go with whatever you find more appealing man.
Kinda like the dimension of the Superman, he should be buff and big, and this fit him perfectly in 6 inch
That sucks about the QC, but NECA is great with my experience. My Target TMNT Leo was missing the knot/wraps for his bandana and they sent one out within like 10 days. Hopefully they do something about it. But yeah, Superman is a cool figure and I'm the same fence about Alien/Predator figures. I like the classic movies but I never wanted to get figures like that. I was considering selling them and keeping the DC characters but I'll see.

For me the Alien just wasn't unique enough to warrant it. Woulda liked it to be a little more interesting. Supes should be able to look up more for those flying poses. It's a cool set but I think I'm glad I passed on it. Great review!
Go figure! My favorite Superman figure is sitting in a two pack that I will probably never get! Aside from the quality control issue with two right or left feet, the paint sloppage and the head should be able to look up more! This Superman figure is it when I envision a classic Superman! Neca nailed it as far as what Superman should look like in plastic form. They need to sell this Superman, Armored Batman and rumored Green Lantern figures separately too because I am not into Aliens as far as toys go! I may have to email them about this to see what they say! I really want this Superman!

The neca one is great! the icons one is cool too but he would look better with a DC icons rebirth superman head,and mezco is amazing but those undies are just wrong

I imagine the alien for the most part prob reuse but that's fine can never have enough xenomorphs. I've got the Ultimate Aliens Xeno and the head on mine is different but looks very similar.
Superman looks nice except for the negatives you found. Gutted they came out this way and not regular release like when were originally revealed
His whole left shin and foot is wrong side. The calf is the right calf as well

In what world do you live where NECA is good at customer service? My NECA Spyro came out of the box headless and when I went to their website it basically told me "we're a wholesaler, take it back to the store and deal with them". Is it a different protocol for ComicCon Exclusives?

was debating on getting this set, but i felt like the final product for the face looks too much like old david hasselhoff to me haha so i passed on it lol
The fragility of NECA's plastics and quality control issues makes me nervous about this guy. I primarily like buying their movie figures because the accuracy outweighs the QC issues for me. But in this case since it is a comic version of Supes, I may be more inclined than usual to pose him around a bit.
That Superman has lots of QC issues, that would be a def return for me, new fig please Mr NECA.

The chest part seems to be the way the torso s sculpted. Yeah, could have been better. Thankfully, I seem to have the correct feet.
The essentials Superman is a better looking Superman in my opinion.

It's a Comic-con exclusive. They were originally going to go to retail but something happened with the licensing

If I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, NECA & McFarlane Toys have the worst QC issues I’ve ever known throughout action figure companies. And that hairline on Supes is horrible.
