Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.
From what I’m now seeing, let NECA make DC figures instead of Mattel.

Exactly. Mattel is just lazy
99% of the time NECA will send you a replace if you tell them about your issues. They are really good about listening to what the fans are having issues with and try to fix them.

That's great, but their figures need to have less issues from jump, especially when we're talking about exclusives at $30+ a pop. Most people gonna be buying these from resellers at marked up prices too; it's not cool having to deal with figures broken or having stuck joints out the package

geirthemuss thank you. I hope he sees this and seriously consider my idea because I'm sure, like me, many of his fans have local collector/toy stores and stumble upon Marvel Legends figures that aren't common. I think his professional opinion would be excellent on this subject.

Wow, considering the size and quality, this set is really expensive right now on Amazon! At most, the figures look like they're worth $35 each...but Amazon has the set for nearly $140. Crazy. No thanks.

This is hands down the best Superman figure I have ever seen. NECA just needs to release it. I don't care about the Alien figure, I want that Superman in my life.

Got my monies worth with ML 2-packs 80th Colossus/ Juggernaut, Hulk/Wolverine at 60 💵 each but figures that can't stand, limited articulation and qc issue from a supposed superior line. Hoping Green Lantern does better.
After I meticulously heated up and chilled back down each and every joint, I had a blast posing these guys. One of my favorite Supes ever made for many reasons. Still yeah lots of qc problems for most folks and I had to trim up my cape too because the cut was way off pattern. Again thougbh after all that fixing up I really love it. Also bro I have ankle on my xeno, some of the ball joints work great and some dont move right at all. It sucks NEca seemed to rush these through production. I love they were made though and I wasnt a fan of how armed Bats looks but I hope for that normal Bats we saw soon somehow. Great review bro, I am so behind on vids, going through some things with my dog right now, old age stuff ya know, your vids still help me forget about Lifes BS though bro and I really appreciate that

Very doubtful, it's made from a sturdier plastic. Seems like they got that piece just right.

Anatomically that alien shouldn't have an ankle pivot. The part you're calling the ankle is just its toes, its not a single piece on a ball joint or anything like that. However, individual toe articulation would accomplish everything you're wanting.

Never been much of a fan of the AVP/ ALIEN RESURRECTION Alien Design. I much would had preferred that they had either used the Big Chap Alien, or the Alien Concept Warrior in the Burke two pack, maybe even a recolored version of the Alien Isolation Alien. Still, a nice two pack, though the empty eye sockets on Superman is really creepy lol

Man I always new Neca could do a better job with the licence to make DC figures but mcfarlane has the licence now so hopefully we get another one of these only next time we a get Lobo ,imagen an articulated Lobo made by Neca.

I bought this set when NECA offered it online prior to SDCC (shipped after the show). Too much of a Superman fan not too. However, it took me about an hour with the hair dryer, hot water, and an exacto knife to get all the frozen joints dislodged. Was really worried about breaking an expensive figure. I feel for the price paid, there is no way this should be an issue. But, NECA has a reputation for sloppy quality control and I dont see them making it a priority to change.
If you use poly cement you can keep the cape in 👍
Fav Super hero but have no figures of him. Hopefully they do a solo release bc its worthy to be a first.

I dig these sets but my Batman arm snapped clean off, NECA said they have to wait on parts. So I dunno if I should glue it back or they'll want the arm back or something. But yeah, I love this Superman.

I love NECA but dude the Alien figures all have one thing in common: none of them will stand on their own . So you're not the only one who has that problem. Every one of their Alien figures should come with stands. Even the bases NECA sells don't work. It's really frustrating.
