My Datejust 16233 Diamond Dial was/is my first rolex grail and coincidentally got me into watch collecting LOL. I'm currently saving up for my second Rolex grail the Presidential Day Date 16238. Saving that for my 41st Bday in a couple years. I DON'T CARE if a two-tone datejust is the "old-man's Rolex"....it's the watch that caught my eye growing up in the 80's/90's and I will forever love this watch.
The Day Date with a presidential bracelet is one hell of an iconic piece. There's no such thing as a 'Old Man's Rolex' because all Rolex's are special in their own way and fits each and every person uniquely
The first datejust offered with sapphire crystal was actually 8-10 yrs earlier in the precious metal 5-digit pieces. I own a 16018 and a 16019 from 1981.
I have a 1993 Rolex datejust two tone vs diamond bezel. not the hidden clasp. As far as I'm concerned it's one of the best writers the Rolex ever made. What year is your watch? Thank you very much for your video it's awesome. Neil

I wear mine 24hrs a day. It has the mop dial with diamonds and diamond bezel. I bought it to wear until I die. The diamonds make it that much more noticeable

I mine is the same model its pre-owned but it came with a authenticity card with the reference number.
Just bought this one but with a white interior and without the inner diamonds,still looks very cool,im super happy
