Mexie Mex Linux is an operating system. That wouldn’t really dictate to whether the game will run well. It depends on the specs of the computer, he needs a fairly good GPU & CPU to operate the game at 60 FPS, but like he said he’s not a gamer nor a tech-savvy
@@pogmaster4559 I know exactly what Linux is, the reason I mentioned it was to get in before people started saying "but KCD isn't released on the mac" I know it isn't, it isn't released on Linux either but I know it runs fine on that OS. As the mac OS is based on the Linux kernel as long as the hardware is up to date, there is a fair chance it'll run.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux" distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
@@jcdenton4436 true, but as only tech nerds care about that, there is little point going into it when most people understand Linux to be an OS. I am a tech nerd myself, and have been working in the industry for almost three decades now, so I've learnt not to overcomplicate things when a simpler version will suffice LOL

The only gripe I had with the game mostly was the combat. Otherwise it's a really good game.
@@jeeroylenkins3081 I agree, in particular the shitty lock on system
The combat was pretty good imo. I like how different it was from most games
I liked it but installed a combat mod but it’s better than hack n slash in my opinion
The fact that Henry is based on a real person and using his real voice makes the character seem so authenticly human, so much more believable. This game is SO good I really don't understand how anyone could dislike this game, best Medieval RPG (I consider it an rpg) in the last 10 years in my opinion. Hopefully they make a KCD 2
25:22 and tom has just said [scene continuity] "is all on them" - because he just turned up and said the lines for the DLC. I beg to differ. A lesser actor would not be able to turn those lines in the tone required based on nothing more than notes from a director. Tom is selling himself short here, and i hope he reads this so he sees this lol
Imagine the good fortune this guy has. He doesn't know about video games but (blindly?) decides to take a gig at a new gaming company (no history or reputation to draw upon) doing a kickstarter game - and it turns out to be one of those rare games that become a modern classic and winner of many awards. And he's the main guy, the protagonist. Love these stories.
It's like when Mark Morgan did a short gig writing the music for a little game callad Fallout, a new franchise not even the developers thought would hit it big (they released another game - now forgotten - at the same time they thought was going to be the blockbuster, while Fallout was more or less a little sideproject.
I really really really hope Tom Henry McKay of Skalitz comes back for a full blown sequel.
Wtf I never knew he was an actual person
The name of castle Karlštejn was pronounced very good. Thats castle build by King Charles 4, who was emperor of holy german empire
Jan Ehrenberger did he have a long and successful reign though?
@@javitwg7958 well he was married 4 times.... one the reasons he build karlstein i guess.... there is even a legend that no woman was alowed in the castle
*roman empire
The castle was mainly used for safekeeping the emperor's crown
@@javitwg7958 yes. He was dad of Sigismund. His death is in the opening scene of the game
6:10 Tom is talking about Karlštejn castle
I love the game so much. I really hope they do another game with Henry specifically. I need more of the story.
47:26 - The moment you call came here for
Lucky dude! Us gamers spend lots of time tweaking the character creation menus in RPG's so that our character would look like us. Too bad he doesn't game.
Hi Roxy! You were brilliant at interviewing! If you had a case of nerves, it certainly did not show.
You kept the flow of questioning interesting, you did not interrupt Tom's speaking, you did not do the repetitive, irritating "uh-uh" (the nodding of head, agreeing twitch thing).
Well done, our bailiff of Biscuit Town, well done!! Proud of you! 🐈
Totally agree, if the interviewee is answering the questions and giving detail the fact that you let him speak his mind without interrupting was great!
I must be missing something about the hunger because every npc asks me if I’ve been assaulted.
Can’t believe he actually has the Human Dustbin perk irl!
who doesnt

omg wtf ? henry of skalitz is real !!!!
He's absolutely adorable!!!! You've done an awesome job with this interview. I, too, want to see more of Tom McKay in the games and on the big screen!!!! Warhorse....You Better Call Tom McKay to do the next game!
Kcd is such a gem, a wonderful art-like creation that just happens to be a game. Tom's voice acting helped that immensely.
Its genius, he looks exactly like henry
"Henry's come to see us!"
First time I see Sexy Biscuit ! :D I imagined a tall British gentleman.
( No offense : was not aware. I am somewhat non binary myself at heart. I normally avoid gender terms :P)

Roxy is a woman with a bit of a deep voice on her, but can you imagine that when she's feeling friendly? Pants melter I suspect.

dear gamers, here is a request to start a petition to get the real life henry a gaming PC or a console and play through the entire game and put all his lets plays on youtube.. i'm sure you all like me would love to see henry play with himself for 70 hours :D
That was a nice interview. And by the way, how did you reach him?
His agent put me in contact after warhorse said I was ok lol a lot of work but glad I was able to talk to him :)
i didnt expect that he survived 600 years damn
haha henry has come to see us
Henry is hiding all that guilt from killing all those cows to become max level in Skalitz before the cumans arrived
Hey you know what? You have a great voice for radio/podcast
Henry for fucks sake play the game. It is a masterpiece.
*Stomach growls*
Bloody great video, thanks for doing this!
Edit: Maybe you could do a video about english people and their accents, i love to listen to this like "a bao of woa = a bottle of water" - absolutely lovely you people.
As a brit i relate a lot to this 🤣😂
One of the greatest things about this game, is unlike Ubisoft in particular; they made the main character loveable! Whereas Ubisoft goes the easy route and makes antagonists!
I just love his voice! He really need to play the game
Damn he leveled speech irl
Wait a minute, Henry's real?
He survived to the present day!
I know right
Hopefully Runt isn't real

He possibly could run it on a mac, but he'd need to be more tech-savvy than he says he is though, it runs OK under Linux.
He could also run it on mac using GeForce Now--which streams from the web. The dev could probably even get him a free Steam key to try it out.
I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.
There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
