Very happy with the release of Pantheon, bit sad that’s its going away soon but I’ll be sure to enjoy it while it lasts! I’m personally loving the addition of the brand new Classy Warfare modifier which adds an additional 20% STACKABLE weapon damage increase on top of everything else, plus, the buff is refreshable with a max duration of 15 seconds, pretty sweet! Mechanically, the encounters remain identical to the raids they were pulled from, the extra bits they added are more like additional combat obstacles, such as the fire tornado in Explicator, or the Tormentors in Atrax, they don’t impact the mechanics, but they do force you to adapt and stay on your toes, which I’m a big fan of! Though it is quite funny that Bungie’s latest answer to making their activities harder is to just add a Tormentor to them haha! All in all very happy with it and I hope you enjoy this breakdown, thank you!

Shoulda been stasis fallen instead of a tormentor for Atrax. They are criminally underutilized for how cool they are.

Stasis wielding Fallen are basically died on release so the Hive Guardians could prosper
Honestly I think they'd violate players more just because of how terrifying freeze and shatter damage is most of the time.

It is farmable for normal raid loot but you get the adept weapons for hit the plat score on all of the bosses but you only get the adept weapon once per boss.

The fire tornado on macrocosm is not spawned by the boss, it spawns on one of the platforms and circles around the edge from planet to planet.
Actually when I did the encounter I saw the boss using his computer mid fight and there was a tornado just after, like he ordered one to spawn in a platform.

3RD PART, you can stand in the middle of the plate when the fire is going off and also you CAN AVOID THE TORMENTOR, let him roam and get the planets for dps and he’ll despawn
Also fun fact about the tormentor in planets, when u go into damage phase, he despawns. Have a bubble titan put up a bubble to tank the ranged attacks and don't hit him, when damage phase happens, he goes away
I'm glad you can get all the adept weapons, heck if I can get good versions of all the adepts I probably won't even worry about getting patterns especially in RoN.
I still wanna know however if the divine weapon quest is character based or account based. To me it would make more sense to be character based so everyone can get all the exotics they're missing because that seems like the end goal with Pantheon is to give everyone a shot to get everything they're missing before final shape. Hence why each encounter drops anything and everything.
For Atraks, we baked her with 2 Thundercrash, a Needlestorm and 3 SES Blade-barrages, all using parasite. Final stand seemed bugged too, the game only registered us doing half of the bar, but we got the kill regardless.
Pantheon loot is farmable, just not the adept weapons. So every time you do an encounter you will get two weapon/armor drops, but only on the first one will you get the adept weapon drops. also as a little haha, the adept smite of merain you pick up from the triumph this week has a selectable masterwork (even from other weapon types) so you can get an impact masterwork smite of merain, and have a 30 impact instead of 29 impact roll.
Same with the Zaouli’s bane and Rufus fury
For caretaker, not benefiting the surge makes you lose you a lot of damage. Edge transit is a safe option and can reach higher damage in one plate (almost one plate him), if you die with parasite or the grand overture you are in big trouble for your damage.
Anyone knows if we'll be able to do any pantheon on any week? Like can we do Atraks Sovereign next week for example
Yes you will, next week you'll be able to select between either Atraks or the newer one, they're all gonna be separate selectable versions :)
Difficulties should be selectable but harder ones unlock weekly

We finish the pantheon raid and we didn’t get atraxs encounter it gave us the commendation screen
May be a little late to commenting this, but i believe the adept weapons are NOT farmable, BUT the base normal weapons are and have a CHANCE at dropping as a deepsight variant instead😅😅

You get a red border from the corresponding raid each run encounter. 4 red borders??? Huge for those who havent done much. Or need to finish a few before TFS like me

interesting video! since i cannot do missions of that extreme difficulty level i have to resort to watch videos like this.
these are just slightly harder than regular raids iirc. which aren't too difficult
@@zorpglorp i only did one dungeon and got carried hard. never done a raid, not even a legend nightfall. i am not good enough to do non-trivial missions.
and since the "get good" comments will undoubtly come: i tried. i spend lots of hours practicing and testing builds. but i cant do most build suggestions because i lack armor and weapons necessary.
and i left an LFG discord earlier today because nobody wants to do lower level missions. nobody wants to help players getting better, they only care about End Game Raids :(

yo llama ive found a new way to skate/ launch and u can do it on all classes and id love to share it with you. i have posted itt to twitter but no one has seen it. i have replicated it and all you need is a sword, i was using falling guillotine idk if it works with anything else
Are the adept weapons per character - as in I can get like 12 adept weapons per week if I run pantheon(fully) 3 times? - or are they per account - as in I can only get a max of 4 per week even after running Pantheon(fully) 3 times?

Why is specifically thundercrash the best for atrax? Doesn't star-eater scales blade barrage do more damage?
Things with massive impact damage is why. Somewhere in the gamecode or how they made the boss it just takes massive damage to imstant damaging things like tcrash, the worm, lament. I personally do not know the correct wording. It was explained this a few years back by a buddy of mine

Into The Light is Bungies way of apologising for the last year of content and mismanagement of the game that caused so much negativity across the entire player base

Did a full run with all platinum right after it launched. 2 guys didn’t even know any of the encounters and we did the whole gauntlet in like an hour or so. LFG can suck, but trust me there are good groups out there. You can usually tell if you’re gonna be playing with bots right away so you just gotta keep searching for a decent group.
700h of destiny, 0 raid clears, nice activity though XD

If you have the quest on both characters then yes. I swapped from hunter to titan on atraks for tcrash and I need to do the final encounter again because I only had the quest on my hunter
