Around how much did all the mods/tuning set you back if you don't mind me asking...also great audio sound with your cameras/mics ....best I've heard on UA-cam or anywhere....can't get any better than this!
@Corey Patterson Don't mind it at all. It really depends on the parts used but plan on $25-30k if starting from a stock car. This is assuming a shop will be doing the install labor as well. Mine was on the higher end of that range since we went with the 55mm turbos and a race instead of street intercooler. Hope that helps. Appreciate the feedback and support!
@csquaredboxing Currently running the AMS Race unit. The IATs are rock solid based on datalogs. Had the AMS street unit on my previous GTR and it wasn't a huge improvement over the stock unit. IATs will spike on highway pulls. Probably better to go with a race FMIC or save $ by keeping the stock FMIC.
@L2_GTR nice...I'm trying to decide if it's worth upgrading to Xona 55 mm turbos or stay with the gateway turbos? I was told I wouldn't notice much difference between the 2 turbos when driving on stock trans/block at 800 whp, but I was told the 55 mm turbos sound a lot better!? ... do you have any preference or advice?....I would definitely like to have a great sounding car...I am going to stay in the 800whp range...nothing more
@Corey Patterson - If the car lives at sea level and 800whp is all you'll ever need, either turbo should do the job. The 55mm turbos have ball bearing CHRAs vs the journal bearings used on the Gateways if that matters any. If budget is a consideration the Gateways are $3,000 less so that might be the economical route to achieve the 800whp goals. We ultimately decided on the 55mm because my car lives mostly at 6,200 ft elevation and the larger turbos give us an extra amount of head room in case the extra flow was needed at some point. Either turbo will sound great and I do feel like the 55mm turbos have a more distinct sound to them even when it's out of boost in normal driving situations as they no longer use the stock 2-bolt compressor covers. Good luck with whichever turbo you go with!
Well done on the mods, absolutely addicted to this !!

❤❤❤❤👍👍
what are Xona 55mm turbos? what's your power level?
The 55mm is the inducer size. It is a Xona CHRA mated to a GTR exhaust manifold. Power level is in the 800whp range with stock block and trans.
where are your mics mounted?
Engine Bay, Cabin, and Exhaust.
Hey brother, how is your reliability with stock engine and trans? Did your tuner keep your torque level down?
So far so good. Torque is being managed at ~630 ft-lbs all the way to redline.
@@L2_GTR good to know! Do you have FMIC as well? Looking at AMS or ETS street core

Amazing setup. How much does the car make on 93?
@Mustafa jan on the previous tune it dynoed at 685whp on 93.
Is this all on stock trans?...
@Corey Patterson - Yes, stock trans and stock block.
