I was high as a kite at one of Larry's shows in Cleveland back around this time, and I had a boom box with me recording on cassette tape. During the intermission, Larry came over to my chair and asked me to come "backstage" with him. When we got there he asked me if I had a problem giving him the tapes once the show was over with the promise that he'd mail them back to me. I said okay so he said 'keep on recording'. A month or so later, he mailed my tapes back to me. I was surprised because I really thought he was just bullshitting me so he could confiscate the tapes without a hassle. I remember that I thought he was going to yell at me for being stoned at his show, too, because my eyes were really red. He never mentioned it.
I love Larry, but he is wrong about a lot of things. For one, it's not against the law to pray in school. It's against the law to force people to pray in school. Big difference.
12/13/2018 *thousandlegger* I beg to differ, don't know your age, but you need to check the law. Also, I've heard of too many instances of kids praying over their food & a teacher coming up to inform the child that wasn't allowed. Check out Jay Seculow's, the prominent attorney's website.
