From time to time I get gifts sent to me often with out any warning
My UA-cam contract says that they could be deemed as payed promotions
Due to the nature of me doing vids daily mostly in a hurry
I feel it’s best so not to fall foul of contract so I will now just add the hash tag #paidpromotion to all my vids This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated

Fan blades inside the container/oven driven by a motor on the outside via a shaft and bearing
Pretty much how a fan oven works
This, you could just put it straight on a PTO
You didn’t say any more about the 724 where it was going. !!
Find out tomorrow
728 coming?
How about a Gas Space heater, heat/fan all in one, set a thermostat to it, regulated blown heat, set it up outside with either a hole in the container or a ducting leading to the heat tubes a bit like underfloor drier heating
I would add the pipes vertically, in the loaf tin. so the heat rises inside the loaf, and will flow up and around via convection. So holes in the bottom of the tin, this will also let you to tip the loaf out after baking.
Ollie regarding the JD mower part? ask WelderFabber Baz. He uses a guy i think Bolton who produces replica parts from small to large HGV's to Large plant machinery. He calls him his little Indian Father! Worth a try!
Northwest props in copull near Chorley for the deer driveshaft
Best cookery show I've ever seen mate 😂 I would definitely add more insulation to the sides. Maybe straw or sand or both. I know containers can collapse if you bury them so don't over do it. As for the fan could you not just find a large axial fan blade and connect the motor via a long drive shaft and a bearing. So the fan is on the back wall like a fan oven but the motor is outside?? Just a thought but looking forward to the next attempt 👍
You love your cliff hangers Olly - find out where the 724 is going in tomorrow’s blog. 🤣👍. Excellent blog today, always love the boiler repairs. 😊
You can get metal parts 3d printed . I'm sure if you ask someone would collaborate with you for the exposure.
30%. Axle oil sight glass. How about mount the fan motor outside on a stand with a shaft through a small hole and put a steel fan on it. This will circulate the heat in the container and only steel inside the oven. For the length of time needed an open cage bearing pillow block on the oven will survive without lubrication, so no grease burning. 😊
Travelled from Derbyshire to South Devon, rain and spray most of the way, not the nicest of journeys 75%
line the inside with bricks to hold heat . preheat oven )) try mix dough at same time . might consider putting a lid on the tin like a sliced loaf has.. gl
Charcoal i would drop BigK a message to see if they will get involved. To supply the charcoal
You need a fan they use at the Chem
I was thinking, it's a shame you don't have anyone with a grain dryer you can cut up and stick fan and burner unit onto the container, almost turning it into a fan oven.
Rain in Oxfordshire this morning and chucking it down again this evening.
Good vlog interested in the new loaf experiment don't forget the butter 😉 😮 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Well olly at 14:38-14.39 you see a mouse running under the fans , split second 😅
😮
Love the plan/ design for the bread oven and the strategy behind making the world’s largest loaf of bread. Will definitely be looking forward to the result with great expectations on Saturday/Sunday. Good luck!
Great idea for the loaf, fingers crossed it works
24°C working on a boat off Spain 90%
We had a lot of rain here this morning in the cotswolds 😢
Quadtrac idler wheel
just a idea what if you insulated the container as you might be losing a heat though it maybe pile dirt around the sides
good luck and Olly you are one busy guy thankyou for all you do
The largest recorded loaf to date, weighing 1.57 tons, was baked on November 13, 2008, in Curitiba, Brazil.
Wet day in Sussex. - Sight glass on idler of Quadtrack
No one can accuse you of not being persistent, Olly. I admire your vision and fortitude 😄
Quadtrack idler wheel.
Sounds like a great plan for the loaf Olly. My only critique is that it'll be a pain to get out with horizontal pipes - as another commenter suggested, vertical pipes would do the same job and it would be a lot easier to just tip the loaf out!
Edit: reasons why make the loaf - number one was probably sufficient, but other reasons great too!
Did the boy have fun ?
Try a company called HPC gears. They make all kinds of gears and splines shafts/sockets/couplings. Not sure if they make yokes though.
Anybody else see the rodent scarper from under the bin of fans when Olly got there?
Yes i did, 😮
Great video Olly, like the plan and hopefully it will work. We have had rain again today near Bury st Edmunds , hoprfully we are soon going to get some dry weather soon. 75% Today.
I think you might need some form of insulation or heat deflection idea, maybe a false bottom, to stop the radiated heat from the coals burning the dough to the bottom of the tin
Hi Olly, make the loaf tin bigger & shallower. (2m x 5m x 0.5) ideal to fits snug inside the container. That will reduce cooking time and your driving heat issue. Cheers from NZ. Ben
Oil level check idler wheel clear hub cover
Preperation H will sort your drawbar rash right out.
95%today,been ploughing for a customer.ready for maize, will powerharrow it from friday, i know how much you like both, wet day in kernow today
Another 5mm here in south Norfolk !
I think 2 or 3 45 gallon drums hole in bottom needs lower temperature than you had for longer was too fast for middle 1 inch hole in container moter outside fan blade inside
John 72 years old retired shepherd Haltwhistle
Thanks john
Clear view hub (polycarbonate) on a quad track mid roller
Spot on
@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer your spacing for the pipes should change from 6-12-12-6 to 12-12-12 if you want even heat distribution. If you go 6 for the first pipe it's only 3 inches from a heat source. And go vertical with them as previously stated.
hi olly, very interesting blogs the last few days with the largest loaf challenge, looking forward to see the end product, good luck, been raining in south snowdonia all day today, not sure how many mm but nice growing raing for the silage fields, feeling 70% today
Wire wrapped around hedgecutter shaft the worse to get out! Rain in Jersey today but was needed.
How about venting some steam out of the inside of the loaf? Maybe an array of perforated tubes dipping into the loaf?
How are you going to remove the pipes if they are inside the loaf
Great video as ever, you never said where the Fendt was going. We had 20mm of rain yesterday in East Yorks, heavy showers and thunder. Nice eh.😢😢
Non-dialysis day, but had to go shopping in the rain so only 85%.Weather just West of Glasgow was a getting better/drier sort of a day until about 6PM, when it started getting darker, but hasn't started raining again.
3 yellow cars, one orange and a yellow motorbike.
Put bread tin in one end of container, fire in the other and create fan oven, then no direct heat on the tin so won't burn
I cook joints on BBQ the same way 👍🏻
Air cleaner on the 1455xl. The driveshaft should have a isolater on is that ok. Rain in Rugby Warwickshire. 50% today
Hi Olly great video I think that the quiz question is a wheel hub on the combin...it was dry this morning and it rained all afternoon...😀😀😀😀30%
Suspense on the 724!!
11 ml rain overnight, showers in East Devon. Thanks Olly take care.
Hi Olly, love everything you do, About the bread making idea, why not use the wood chip boiler to heat the oven, constant heat and controlled, Reg Gerry Mack, 85%
Hi Olly we had rain pretty much all day today, but it's mainly light rain, but annoying here in Cornwall.
Couple of showers today in n.i, not a lot of rain.. look foward to seeing the 728 tomorrow
Looks like the 724 is going wonder what’s going to replace it ??? Really love your determination with the bread I wonder if Warburtons ever had this problem when they made there first loaf but they got round it and so will you Olly come the Cereal event You will have the perfect loaf feeling 78% today and Olly brilliant video again
so far this year 6mm, tomorrow a rain bomb forecast.
Great work....just mentioning the drawbar rash. My first boss did the same...everybody makes mistakes, even highly experienced people. He always said: he who does nothing....certainly doesn’t do anything wrong. Yes everyone on that farm did the once in a lot of time mistake. But everyone was valued for the 98% of time where everything was perfect!
How are you going to hook up the back chains. It's going to be too hot for someone to go in. Maybe lay chains from a hole to the door and hook then up before you go in. Pull the excess through holes in the roof until happy and put them on hooks on the outside.
I don't know about boiler motors but car and truck sensors are "buy cheap buy twice" (One for the pattern part and then buy the OEM part as well).
Great video Olly
You won’t be able to get a fan to go inside as the motor would burn out, all fans for moving heat are centrifugal type fans with external motors normally belt driver as its volume of air or be moved which is important, a fan from a spray booth is designed to move hot air when it’s in bake mode to cure the paint.
The todays quiz is the oil level sight glass on the case
Try proptech for the shaft
A good hire shop should be able to sort you out with the heaters
Loads of rain down south today.
I think you should get a second container for the coals pump the heat from 1 container to the other, only way to stop spot burning
Instead of putting pipes through the bread, weld bale spikes to the bottom. It will be easier to remove.
14:14 great content again been pretty wet in kings Lynn Norfolk with some heavy showers
0:23 Olly covers all bases to stem the keyboard warriors 😂👏🏻
You’ve obviously missed your calling, you’ll be opening the Olly bread oven company next 😂
Great idea, let’s hope all your efforts get the important message across.
Nice to see lots of lorries going out get the sheds ready for harvest, it’ll be here before you know it !!
Good idea with alu pipes in bread bin 👍👍👍
T&J Haulage from my home town👍
great stuff
Speak to Elta or Flaktwoods about fire rated fans. We use them in the smoke vent industry rated for 300 degrees for 2 hours. They're chunky bits of kit but will do the job and have the power to blow it round whatever you want.
We had about 15 mil this morning
Wet day in Somerset 😊
Rain most of the day in Somerset 😫🌧️🌧️
John Deere out front mower shaft yoke AM117867 £184.42 dealer price pto cross AE23716 £29.58 dealer price looks to be stock with many JD dealers UK hope this helps or out of the USA from Fort Wayne Clutch and Driveline $133.00 it's 15spline.
We run those jd out fronts and the yokes do ware quickly. Also sharpen on belt linisher rather than grinder for even balance makes a difference
Wet day in Leicestershire today, 75% today
Try Northwest Propshafts in Coppull Lancs for the deer shaft.
Wet and windy and only 15 degrees here in Kent, been pulling blackgrass all day
Oly.
Try LS Engineers for the pto for the mower. We use them for our mowers and small tractors parts.
Lots of rain in Somerset! Cows are back in 😢
What about bales on the side walls outside for more insulation to keep the heat in the shipping container ?
Would a stove fan or two work in there? They work without any external power, as far as I know.
Great video olly. Good idea with putting coal trays on steel skids. Rather than push trays through, may be easier to link each tray with chain/clip and pull them through from other end.
Hi Olly Nice One Ran this morning & more now Thanks again
That’s the wheel of the mb trac 🤙
Fair well to the 724 assuming it’s going for good
Perhaps another sheet of metal under the two tubes the pallet forks are going into
Would use 50 x 50 mm angle for runners for charcoal trays Angle welded to floor to form triangle.
Good video 👍 90%
Driveshaft services in Ireland will make a shaft for you would be worth a call to see
Showers on and off in Warwickshire, now dry.
Bogey wheel on the quad track
Could do a sliced loaf then you only need a 6 inch slice and then just repeat
Great video Olly when is the few Fendt arriving and possibly,Abex in Wigan they should be able to sort you out or find one, I knew Wyan there and S.E.W motors are one of the best, and if you do get in touch or go down to Abex they will give, you a price for a motor and gearbox 👍👍
With making multiple mixes of bread , they will need to make sure they are identical to the ml of water but also mixed super fast between mixes or putting unproved bread ontoo of bread thats started will flatten all tge air from previous mix.
I like it
Hi olly it's pissed down more or less all day up in lancaster proper heavy in afternoon sick of it now and I saw something on Internet about rain for next 50 days and it's going to be wettest summer for 100 years absolutely fantastic 60% today not good today😢
To much heat to close to the bread tin never cook with charcoal you need a gas blower at one end of the container bread tin middle heat would be much easier to regulate with gas
Hi Ollie. If you are having motor troubles let me know the size of motor you are using and I will be able to offer you a different manufacturer of motor to try if you wanted.
You'll never make a winch grinder on a racing yacht!
85%. I Hate pigeons. First year my redcurrant bushes haven't been stunted by greenfly and produced a decent crop. Sunday, a pigeon sat on the bushes and scoffed the lot. Time to give the Mossberg 20g Hushpower some exercise.
Kramp used to be awesome for uj’s as they were uk agents for gkn walterschied not sure if they still are. Was a chap called bill who went with the stock from gkn to Kramp but he’s now retired.
