as far as i know in my homeland I can only find vending machine at the airport, the choice are nothing special and the price is twice as much in comparison to the mini market that are located next to the vending machine :")

As for vending machines....I can't think of any weird ones offhand, the ones I'm surprised still exist are cigarette vending machines.

i'm swiss, and we have fresh milk vending machines at a local farm. that same farm also has a vending machine for apple juice, meat, yogurt, basically any animal/farm product.

I'm endlessly jealous of these vending machines that have something other than crappy overpriced junk food lol. anyways, I love these tour videos & Emma and Jordan are excellent hosts... Here in Belgium, at least in my region, there's a lot of agriculture, so it's not super uncommon to see a vending machine that sells potatoes or onions, or fruit like apples and strawberries. Not too far from my house there's an orchard that has a stand where they sell apples and some other fruits that also works on the trust system (so unmanned and you just put the money in a box). This is quite uncommon I think, but it seems to work for them.
the shrine, the beach, the food , the vending machines and the onsen were cool, the only cool vending machine I can think of is a vending machine for books someone redid to get kids more interested in reading in a school around my area but that is about it

We have gacha style drink vending machines here in the Philippines. You put money in, choose your drink, then hope that it comes out. It could be your drink, just water, just ice, or just the cup 🤣

So much nice, fun vibes in this video. I love Jordan's energy! I'm a little sad about the footage/render quality though. It's such an amazing place, we deserve to watch it in a more crisp/cinematic way, imho (excluding the drone shots, those were perfect!). Previous videos in the past were of better quality. It's not that I don't enjoy the videos, because I absolutely do! I love the down to earth approach and vlog-style of the videos. I'm just pointing out that there is some room for improvement on the video and footage quality. Love u guys ❤

Amish country in Lancaster Pennsylvania used to have a lot of these trust system style vending. Just some pretzels and other random snacks with a sheet listing price and a little box to deposit the money.

We have on-honor fruit stands in California. Not as many as there used to be though.

In Kentucky, US: a lot of universities in the US are starting to have self care vending machines. They carry over the counter medications and little treats like sheet masks. However, my most exciting vending machine find, which is a little more traditional, was a Kind dairy free ice cream bar in the sketchy basement vending machine at work. It was only $1, which is less than you’d pay for it at a store and so good on a hot day. It was also the last one, and I haven’t seen them since. Clearly all the 1st floor workers are snatching them up first 😫

I wouldn't call that a vending machine to be honest. It's just a (display) fridge with a money collection point.
We have those on farms near the roads for things like potatoes, eggs and flowers. Works on trust, just like these :) (That's in the Netherlands 🇳🇱)
