On my last trip to Japan I spent a day in Nara. It's really a wonderful place to relax, especially after spending time in a big city. I'll definitely go back, hopefully during autumn to see the beautiful colors.
Man I couldn't believe what I walked into when I went to Todai-ji Temple myself. Absolutely stunning. Also the peach ice cream in Nara was very Oishi 😋🍦🍑
When I went to Todai-ji in summer last year. It was incredible! We got stuck inside during a huge rainstorm, while a wedding photoshoot was happening. It was an amazing experience, and a privilege to witness.
i stayed at that exact same temple, about 10 years ago ... i remember there were a number of tiger statues and imagery, but i didn't speak enough japanese to ask why ... and they gave us a tour through a completely darkened tunnel within the temple, along with a tourguide explaining things in japanese that we could not understand ... it was a great experience, despite the language barrier. :)
The quality of this video is somehow different to the others - woooOOoOwW... The shots, the angles, the editing - its fantastic and somewhat sophisticated!! Nice one TeamSarahShah :D
Speed which mochi is hit.. is amazing! Nice Temple tour with various activities! I remember when I studied Japanese and did a lot of hiragana and katakana writing to the notebook... and do all those writings with ink is the next level.. (calligraphy)
Love Nara. You need to stop by the Nara visitors center by the park with the pond, they have lots of free things for tourists, they'll teach you how to make origami and more.
(Heijyo Kyo / Peace Castle Capital), which was the capital of Japan from 710 to 794. (Heian Kyo / Peace Secure Capital), which was the capital of Japan from 794 to 1868.
Aww 🥰 the deer 🦌 are so cute 🥰 I love the temple and the culture that goes with it. I'm definitely putting this on my wishlist ☺️. Thanks Sarah for another excellent video. I hope that your wish comes true 🎎🍡🫶
In Nara city is also a little mall, which got a really cool "Goldfish museum". There are several of these around Japan, but I thought the one in Nara was the best one so far (it's also the biggest and cheapest for entry!)
Nara is an ancient capital, so there are many ruins and few buildings. This is the place where recently discovered relics such as a giant snake sword and a shield with two mirrors embedded in them appear.
Dango girl strikes again! Where ever you go, you seem to have an inner sense as to where you can go to get some dango. Were those stone lanterns burial headstones?
I do not usually comment on Seerasan i just linger in the background but this was a better than usual video. Probably cos the place, temple and temple inn etc. were really atmospheric and beautiful. Stylish _bidio_ . 👍 (edit.. aaaand this is T.Creative NOT Seerasan ! Great).
Japan imitated many ancient Chinese styles, such as Chinese architecture and art from the Tang Dynasty. and received ancient Chinese and Japanese culture, using Chinese and Japanese use chinese characters, receiving a lot of ancient Chinese influence
Nara, is over-run with touristas. Local, small independent businesses are adversely impacted - dependent on local business, their regular customers avoid the area because of the throngs of foreginers crowding out those who actually live in Nara. The recent construction of hotels downtown, two very expensive hotels in Nara Park are a gross manifestation of industrial tourism. Add to that the Marriott nearby Shin-Omiya. Quaint 'guides' to Nara, no matter their intent are another manifestation. Stay home or go somewhere else, maybe Las Vegas or LA. Or Thailand.
Have any of you visited Nara before? What was your fav spot we visited? 🦌
They almost ate me instead of the crackers 😂
I love Serra San’s outfit
The deer are so much fun. One of them tried to eat my shirt, and I saw another nip a little girl's bum.
It was so fun meeting you at Gyokuzoin, such an interesting stay indeed! I loved reliving the whole experience through the video❤ thank you
Heading there on Saturday so perfect timing!

Your videos are the epitome of sophisticated style.
"Home to cute and friendly deer..."
Me: Remembers Sarah pleading for Emma to save her while she runs away from a deer. 🤣

While everything was amazing, every aspect of the temple stay was absolutely stunning.
This by far one of my favorite videos. 😊

I visited Nara years ago and the deer were definite more hungry/ aggressive. Thanks for another fantastic video!
I've wanted to visit Nara and is still on my places to go to. It looks cool. I'll eventually get there.
Yeah the seerasan!
I can't believe you queue to go through that column in Todaiji Temple. It must have taken a while.
Love Nara! Always so sad when you hear people say that a half day is enough to see everything.
Speed which mochi is hit.. is amazing! Nice Temple tour with various activities! I remember when I studied Japanese and did a lot of hiragana and katakana writing to the notebook... and do all those writings with ink is the next level.. (calligraphy)

Great tip!
I can't wait to visit!
I can’t wait to go to Nara on my honeymoon in Autumn! The deer are so cute. This video made me so excited and happy.

I like nara mountain food😊going offroad in nara better then tourist route.

I love Nara! The deer park is my favorite. I really enjoy Sarah’s narrative and personal accounts of the trip. Well done!
I went to Todaiji last year but I felt overwhelmed (like an insignificant ant). I liked much more Kasuga Taisha. It felt much more peaceful!
In Nara city is also a little mall, which got a really cool "Goldfish museum".

So cute
Another beautiful video ❤

(Todai-ji Temple or more precisely spelled as Toudai-ji Temple) means East Great Temple in English as you already know.
Cool coat
It's crazy to think that Toudaji used to be much bigger.
It's definitely nice with all of the tourists there.
Shakyo (copying of sutras )is very interesting. Let the words sink into your body rather than just reading them.
This was such an enjoyable vlog.I would love to know the price of such a temple stay Seera San. Cheers Muffy from Oz

I hadn't noticed before that you were so beautiful.
Sarah is THE BEST
I saw you at Higashimuki shopping street.

How about the “Houriyuji temple?most oldest building made of wood.

So do you have two sites now?!

Is it quite cold in that part of Japan at the moment? A lot of winter clothing in this video.
Need to get Shiori for that nostril!

Havent seen chris on tokyo creative videos for a while has he stopped them?
If the dango is roasted over a fire and has savory sweet sauce, doesn't that make it barbequed?
Where can I eat deer barbecue?

Why is that deer judging me?
Sarah you are more beautiful than lady gaga
