The ones with the plumes are Grenadiers.
Also, funny story about green uniforms in the British army. During the battle of Lundy's Lane in the War of 1812. The Glengarry Light infantry (who wore almost the same uniform as the 95th rifles) was forced to retreat as the US troops got too close. But, as they fell back, they were fired upon by their own men, because they didn't recognize the uniforms.

I just got this set and when I started assembling I got little bit disappointed - each sprue has 6 figures and only 4 plumes , even those 4 plumes are different , 2 are thin and 2 are thick .. I was thinking to build a regiment of 1812 grenadiers but it means I can’t , only 6 can be done out of 40… I m struggling my mind now how to proceed…

@@SoaringHighRU Having also gotten the set, I am inclined to agree. However, that being said, Warlord is worse as far as poses go, and while there are more Grenadier options, there are fewer figures, and you don't get the caps. Also, since there are only 8 shakos, you could make up a unit of Grenadiers wearing fatigue caps.

@@kalebthehistorian5928 I am trying to recreate Borodino so I was wondering if you could help me to determine how many soldiers should be in a battalion , let’s say battalion of grenadiers , musketeers etc (not for gaming purposes ) thank you ! That’s why I got confused cause this set doesn’t allow to build a battalion of grenadiers cause of the few plumed kiwers ..

@kalavasos1245 a Russian Battalion would be about 364 men, though this could vary. As for the composition, you have one platoon of grenadiers, 40 or so men, one platoon of light infantry (these wore no plume) and six platoons of line forming into three companies.

@@SoaringHighRU Though personally, if you want to recreate a full unit, I would advise Baccus 6mm figures, as they sell full companies of Russian Grenadiers for about 7 pounds each.
