Have you been thinking about getting into historical wargaming? What eras of history catch your interest the most? Are you already a veteran historical wargamer? What games or systems would you recommend for new players?

Historically, I play Saga and Black Powder, I recommend that you prove Black Powder for Napoleonics, very entertaining and easy to play and learn

That’s great! You pulled the trigger! Nice to see them up close. They look phenomenal. I got squeamish when I saw the shipping cost. I wasn’t real keen on paying 20 pounds for 2 boxes of infantry. What game are you going to try out?

I've been thinking I might check out Sharpe Practice, but Blackpowder seem like an inevitability. We'll see though, so much to learn and explore!

@@OntheTableGaming the only problem with the perry sets is that for Black Powder you use units of 24 minis, and the set includes 42 so you usually have to buy an additional command pack to have two units, but without that they are amazing sets as you said. Also I recommend Warlord Games miniatures too, they are great!

On the Table Gaming black powder looks like the way to go. But that’s a lot of miniatures to paint. I still see myself buying the black powder starter set. It’s super cheap for the quantity of models you get. And there’s a group near me that plays all sorts of historicals and aren’t overly competitive. My brain can’t handle intense thinking these days!

i just bought and put them together i guessed the knapsacks for great coats are without the roll obviously , and the knapsacks with roll go on the guy's not wearing greatcoats , apart from that some have sabres for flank companies whatever they are lol , so hopefully i have done it right , nevertheless i found them quite confusing and still not sure if their right

Hi, congrats for the video, It Is very interesting. I have a question: Wich Is the line infantry's greatcoat colour, represented on the back of the box? Grey or Grey-light Blue? Thank you very much!!

I would use the extra heads for scenic bases...

better still remove the head so it is just a shako, use those along with other "spares" as discarded equipment for markers for what ever rules you use.
