No shame in it, you did your best in one of the best gyms on Earth at this point. Held your own against tough competition
Here’s something that can change your way of life or thinking. This is the most important thing you will hear/read today.
If you’ve told one lie, stolen anything, or lusted (which is adultery of the heart), you’ll be found guilty on Judgment Day and end up in Hell. But there’s good news: Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus, the prophesied Messiah, perfectly kept the Law, fulfilling all righteousness. He paid the fine for sinners ( that we could never pay ) by suffering and dying on the cross-absorbing the wrath of God that we deserve. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. Today, repent and trust Jesus; God will grant you forgiveness and the gift of eternal life. God bless God bless ❤❤
Good stuff, brother. Even though it didn’t go your way, you still held your own.

yk i’ve been binge watching your videos and looking at these older ones, from barely 10 months ago, not only have you become more explosive, but your wrestling is way way better and it’s inspiring
Great showing Josh! Awesome content and commentary. Keep it up!
Thanks man will do!
Amazing commentary and video, keep it coming. Stay strong bro!
Wow some crazy rolls you had! Really cool that B-team puts on these little tournaments where people can win money, awesome!
Awesome rolls man, they’re not bringing any slouches to these b team tournaments, it really says a lot about you, especially only getting submitted once by the dude who submitted everybody. 😂
You should really feel good about that.
great job josh! cant wait for your b team rolling footage
You guys are all insanely talented!

Thank you for the content man! The narration really helps my white belt brain process things better😂👍
Great video and work, Josh! You just got a new subscriber and I just wanna say thank you for the awesome videos😄 I've been training jiu-jitsu for about 8 years now and I'm sure you would bring the pressure if we ever got to roll 🤣I have competed before but it has been several years since I have due to life, work and school. I'm currently in grad school, but seeing videos like yours always makes me looking forward to train! Good or bad days, it's all about showing up!
Thanks! Happy my videos get you looking forward to training. And you’re definitely right, I love showing up to training on bad days because when I’m there I get to forget about everything else and be in the moment!
Great matches bro ! Awesome job escaping bad positions and going back on the offensive
Good show bro! Respect for posting when it didn't go your way.
I can't believe how technical it is and how good you are
Fantastic effort as always.
This comp format looked great 🤙
Awesome performance by everyone . Really good breakdowns also
The skill level of every one of you cats is amazing! Respect
wessam's hip switch is outta this world.
Love your videos. Only complaint is that I wish there was more content posted more frequently.
absolutely amazing, well done 🔥
You got that dog in you my boy been watching since you started and started bjj cause of the channel
Haha thank you bro that's awesome to hear that I got you to start
I have more respect for you and others that post their "losses" too. Not really losses but learning experiences right? We all want instant gratification and just wins but this brings us to reality. Roll on!
I don’t know about prodigy 😂😂
Very thankful for the content 🙏

Good shit mang!
Great matches!
Having Craig Jones commentate your role must have been wild
awesome, josh rich
Very impressive defense! You did well against those guys!
Despite the result those were great, informative rolls. Thanks for posting, your defense was exceptional.
Hey good work out there. Surviving through subs is the 2nd best thing, besides getting a tap. I'd love to make those guys frustrated 😂😂
Was awesome to meet you in Pakistan man. Im sure the next competition will go your way
Wesam is an absolute beast we have trained together a few times in Dallas
Where in Dallas
@@dirtyd7743 double 5 in highland village and my gym Wolverine martial arts in rowlett
I was just about to challenge you to a race to 50k subs but you already passed it. Nice one.
Hope you become the first UA-camr World Champion.
thanks for this !
Amazing dude!!
I saw you in there live
Jed "the leg collector" is Dangerrrrrouss!!! The problem with leg locks is any of the subs that attack the knee pretty much since pain doesn't set in until the pop! TAP!
Great content!
Well done brother, you fought real fucking blue and purple belts.
Great video, I gotta make my way down there! 🤘🏽
5:30 the guys watching the kids playin 😄
I'm exhausted just watching this
I saw you on one of their vids, was hoping you would upload too hehe

Jett Thompson is a beast; no shame in getting submitted by him. He has submitted black belts before
Hell yeah bro 🫶🏻
Dude how long has that 15 year old prodigy been at this? That was wild
Kind of wish I had started so young, but here I am at 32 just started about 4 months ago, ha. I suppose better late than never
Great content, looking forward to more
Started at 29y old, 6m ago. I’ll be 40y old black belt 🥋LFG
I think he said he's been training for 6.5 years on one of his Instagram stories
@@LipeeBarros Tmj
@@MrSaurus Man, starting at around age 9... that's awesome
If you go to the B-team UA-cam they have the full uncut footage from this comp, the kid is a goddang killer. Literally unbelievable.
Legit work young man, with a-bit more size you could have taken both grapplers with wrestling base.
You did damn well there dude. That was some very high level jiu jitsu on display all around. New sub.
You did great
Wesan impressed me the must, crazy passing. Guy would probably do well in mma.
WOW!! This is why at 55, I'm kinda scared to get back on the mats after 2 years of 0 rolling. But being scared is ABSOLUTELY why I can't wait to find a good academy in my new home state of Minnesota(Burnsville). Thank you brother Josh!! Thinking about hanging up my blue belt to start over.
Wesam went for that armbar Rotolou got on Lachlan 😄
Man - I don't think I'm even practicing the same sport as these kids...
That wrestler is a stud
John Danaher should hire the wall space and put his academy name on wall :P
Excellent Jiu Jitsu. Oss.
That’s a great experience to be rolling with those guys regardless of the outcome
I"m out of breath watching your match with Wisam
Gotta re-enforce that wedge on the arm trap at 3:54 brother, you almost had him. Nice work though.
You one tap once. That was a good day
my name? why of course it's mr sneed
Holly shit! this is blue belt? WTH man its like a black belt in my GYM
Was is Chet a purple belt? Because my gym promotes based on the ibjjf guidelines so I wasn’t allowed to get my blue belt until I turned 16 even though I had been considered blue belt level for a while
Anyone else see the thumb and think it was vanilla ice
Man i feel so trash when i watch these blue belts lol
Question: I'm considering starting BJJ (to learn, not compete), but am apprehensive because of a prior injury. Is the sparring atmosphere like competition where submissions are aggressively forced (your 4th match for example) or is more about learning technique?
The learning atmosphere is definitely less aggressive. Its all about learning a technique, most people won`t hustle you out, when you tell them about an injury. You should try a couple of classes , without sparring. The jiu jitsu gym is one of the calmest places you can go to! 🤙
No, you’ll be fine
The reach around is octapus ask craig good stuff tho
Swear your joints made of jelly
monsters
every single sub in this competition was a leg lock... disgusting
Torn ACL meta
Do they even know how to apply a basic armbar?
Your legs are half your body, kind of awkward to defend, and always available during a guard pass. I see why they do it, although it’s boring.
I can crush a fresh can of WD-40 with a single hand. I'll never understand BJJ.
bro I know jett Thompson
Nothing says, "I will ruin your body for life for no reason", like a heel hook.
Haunted Mound 🤭
But who won? The leg locker?
So your opponents were:
A skilled leg locker
A D1 wrester
A joung prodigy
A B-Team Member
*Andrew*
Nice
At 6:10 -- ....lateral kneebars are a thing? gyat
Pretty awesome bro! How old are you?
Thanks bro! I just turned 22
@@JoshRichBJJ young man! That’s awesome!
Please run these in SLO mo
Just goes to show you what a Jiu Jitsu Mecca Austin has become. You can literally go into any school there and that's the caliber of grappling you will face. Just when you think you're really good and then some 15 year old kicks your a$$ 🤣🤣. I saw this little mini tournament on the B Team channel a few weeks ago. You did good and it looks like it was a great experience. Were you able to drop in and train at New Wave with Danaher?
*tarikoplata. The first guy hit you with a Tarikoplata, not a Baratoplata.
yup, saw the same
He locked up a Baratoplata at first but yeah when he got up he switched it to a Tarikoplata
@@JoshRichBJJ Maybe arguing over nothing here but from the position at 0:36 wouldn't your opponent need his right arm through your left and grabbing his own left leg for barata? Tarika would be his crotch roughly behind your elbow and his arm left arm reaching through to either cup his right leg or switch kimura which he does. *Edit* So the action on the arm is the same but depending on which end of your forearm he is oriented that changes which arm hooks through even though the break/attack is still a kimura-like thing
nice
Weesam was really entertaining to watch
weesam completely manhandles you. In real no gi competition score would be 30 - 0
theres no way you weighed the same as the first two guys
