Fun comparison. Do you think the 400 will become one of Stihls most popular saws? A few tree service guys are going to them because power/weight is good and price is great. The only issue I have is the oiler(full open) with a 25” bar. What’s your recommendation?

The oiler to me is a problem running a 25 in hard conditions although the power to weight is very good and if ported correctly i think can out perform saws like the 462 and 572 possibly if there even ported if i had to pick 2 saws to run all day everyday it would be 500 and 400

Great video! Ripsaw is good. Cajun chomp is more better!!! I prefer the torque.

Went bout how i expected... I figured the ripsaw as more of a ring zinger...i know how Cajun does... rpm and torque 😎🤙🏻

One is good but the other is better.
Finding a good builder is always going to turn out better. Someone like Cajun is going to build you what you want.
A high production outfit is going to throw a one size fits all recipe at it. Not that it will turn out bad it just might not be exactly what you want.

Thank you for another nice video, I've been looking at the 400 for a while now and will have one before long I expect. You make mention of 400 videos in the future, would you consider doing one with a 32 and maybe try a half skip or full skip. I would certainly be interested in how the cajun saw would perform. Thank you for what your doing...

Good honest video. At the end of the day all that matters is if the saw makes the owner happy. If stock saws work for you fine if you like certain ported saws fine. They're all just tools to accomplish a tasks.

There close just by eye but the cajun built saw edges it out in the torq department it has the big foam for a 660 suspension kit up front so its a little stiffer

@MitchellsBackyardLogging I'm looking at getting a new saw down the road I'm looking hard in to the 400. And the new 562xp mark2 as well but not a whole lot of them yet here in Canada

@@johnpower5526 my honest opinion the 562 was one of my favorites but id definitely get the 400 if i was picking one not many say anything bad about unless there anti stihl the oiler is sub par if your long bar running it but u can upgrade it

The problem with Cajun is they don’t get back with you. I don’t know why. They must not want the business. Honestly that’s why ripsaw got popular they knew how to produce units out even if it’s became longer wait time. The order is placed. Cajun and Arron both need to step up that end of this scene. Cheers to all
