Just a tip regarding sound. The foam panels you put on walls don't really have much of an effect on sound proofing (preventing sound from travelling). What they're mostly good for is absorbing sound to decrease echoing. Based on what you said I'd recommend making sure there's no gaps around or under the door. If there are gaps, fill them in with weather stripping or draft excluder. If you have one of those cheap lightweight doors I'd replace it with a solid door or if you have a good door already then add mass to it using material such as mass loaded vinyl or a high density fabric. Even heavyweight curtain in on the door would help.

Focus on jiu jitsu
Well I was in a relationship for three years but ended, I am focusing on myself for a few months now. Competed a few times as a blue belt and training 4x to 5x a week is a lot for me. Won a few matches not the best competitor. It was great to get out there though! I am so slammed with work and training that I have no social life. Something has to give lol because I know I am not going to be best in world in jiu jitsu realized I am just a hobbyist. I do want to start dating again but ya focusing on yourself is fun but as some point that shit gets lonely. Everything is all good, worse things in life happen, I am happy how far I have come.
Get one that trains, or get her to. I tried for a long time to get my girlfriend to but she wasn’t interested until she came to the first comp I did. When watched all the girls and women doing it, and saw what it really was for the first time it sparked her interest and she started shortly after. Now she’s obsessed and competes regularly.
