Hey! You’re the guy from Alone Season 2. Glad to see you’re doing videos. This trick with the PVC pipe worked great. I’ve lent out all my saws but came across this video and though t hey I have picture frame hanging wire! It broke a couple times but I was able to get the cuts I needed. Thanks for this vid!
Nice! I just bought a 10 ft section of 1 1/2" schedule 40 and brought my jigsaw to Lowes with me to cut it in two in the parking lot...NOT a good match...PVC and a jigsaw. LOL. Will use your method...it's a nice, clean looking cut that PROBABLY won't need any sanding to smooth it. Thanks for your video!
Whaaaatt Larry has a UA-cam channel?!?!?!?! I wish I had found this sooner! Larry your the best I was rooting for you! Me and my family called you sweary Larry love ya man your awesome!
Right on! Broke an irrigation pipe, couldn't even get a blade of any sort in there to score it to snap it off. Feeling kinda foolish that this didn't even occur to me. Greetings from BC Canada.
What ? No disclaimers on how not to misuse this idea of how to quietly remove extra PVC exhausts while up on someone's else's roof...or on the sides of houses where the furnace intake and exhaust pipes are needing shortened to stubs ?? Just messin' with you Larry :D
Cool tip! Got a client's irrigation system to repair next week. This will save me some digging for sure. Thanks!

You bet! You will still need to smooth it, but it does work good. Even a piece of metal wire will work instead of the string.
Larry ! This is Wicked man. Last spring I had some 80 along my drive way that got cracked. Wish I saw this back then.
Glad you liked it. Hopefully you won’t need this tip, but know you know. PVC can be a bear when it’s buried.
Pretty handy idea to use in a pinch. Thanks Larry!

does anyone know what a bank line is_ is this something you buy for cyutting pvc:_
Any nylon string will work. Some string is better than others, but even masonry string will work.
Where is this place sir ??
I did the video in my front yard in east central Minnesota
Does Home Depot sell bank line?
No, I don’t think they do. Amazon does though, and online Walmart might as well.
@@LarryRobertsbc Thank u!
WTH Is "bank line"?! DO I get it at a bank?
It’s just a type of cordage.
