If you’re tired of the original Enter Sandman, then you really should check out their reimagined version for the Metallica Blacklist album (recommend live at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX performance). You might be pleasantly surprised. 😎👍
I guess it’s only right to mention that Dany practiced her mean Hetfield face in the mirror all weekend while Pau and Ale were trying to get some practicing in. They did a reaction to their own video (this one) from the offices of UA-cam Mexico probably 18 months ago. It’s hilarious. Dany said she was angry at the wall and Pau said she just wanted everyone to fall in love with her outfit. Oh man, you’ll enjoy the show.

Pau also played the drums better than the original drummer on the Foo fighters song " Everlong " at their school concert at the Liceo , she was incredible , and crashing on the up stroke !
The new cover they just did is not really a cover but a re-imagining of the original in which they made the song their own. Check out the live one at Teatro Metropolitan or the music video, both are equally good.

Pau and Ale practiced a lot for this, but did get a little mad at Dany because she spent more time practicing the stank face , LOL. I have seen them, but support for Three Days Grace, I was hoping they would headline tour Canada, but instead they are coming as part of a very expensive tour with Evanescence and Halestorm, much too expensive for me to take the family and for 3rd slot, a short show. Hopefully they will come to headline next year. On another matter, I'd love to know what Melvin Thinks :) of another young all female Rock band that is just starting to get the eye of reactors. A band called The Sixsters. I found these just over a month ago and most people commenting and loving their music are also, like me, Warning fans. They started young like The Warning, originally 6 members aged 7 to 12, formed in 2018. By 2021 they had an album and a number of video's, they recorded an hour long live concert and were preparing for their breakthrough moment, June 2022, they were scheduled to do a stadium tour of their Country with one of their Countries biggest Rock Bands. Then their world exploded, literally. They are Ukrainian. Currently, they are refugees in Germany and the band has reduced to 5 members, with some member changes due to people moving around, they are still mainly kids at school, most aged between 15 and 17, with the lead guitarist the oldest at 21. Last year they played at Glastonbury and Bush Hall in London. Really would like to hear your thoughts on this band.
Yeah - it's taken me a little while! 😄 Personally, I try and refrain from reacting to bands doing covers because I want to judge a band by their own original material. But for TW I had to make an exception! Especially this track and performance. And thank you for the tip off! I'm intrigued by this band and anything we can do to help support our Ukrainian friends I'm game for. And they played at Bush Hall, which was my first TW reaction too. I think this is a sign I need to check this band out 😁
Neat reaction video. It's a great cover and three little girls laying a darn good cover version, just clicked. I also think their "little girl" voices worked perfect for the prayer. Really creepy. And yes Dany really did tune into her inner James Hetfield for the video. Pau's refined her technique since those days, same passion, same power, same fury, but much less risk of musculo-skeletal injury. And did you note Ale's gesture at the end? Halfway 'tween cute and ccool. Cute, a little girl having fun with her older sisters and cool 'cos there's a vibe to it which says, "Yeah, nailed it." Anyway Melvin, I will keep my fingers crossed for you this Saturday, but basically, I think you're in for a treat.

And yeah, the new rendition of Enter Sandman, with Alessia Cara, is revelatory. It's like a whole new song. And their live performances (usually without Alessia) are like a whole nother song to boot. Fantastic.
Future rock stars in the making, fast forward to today, and they are. Wee aly with the weight of her bass on her shoulder plus wee fingers, big strings, Pau's natural rhythm making for an excellent drummer and big sis Dany singing and playing at the same time and keeping it together, absolutely awesome. My respect is huge because of the whole craft in it's entirety being fully under control.
I've pretty much said it in all the reaction videos I've made for this band, but the sky is the limit for TW. Album #4 is going to be full of monster tracks. Can't wait.

Their revised version of Enter Sandman from the Black List Album is the version of the song. It's their song now. I haven't listened to the Metallica (studio)version in probably 15 years.
I personally think Black album, while did wonders for them, goes in the mid category on their discography. Nothing can beat the first 4 albums. These kids are freaking killing it tho. It's awesome to see them from beginning and kill a cover as well as they are. She is a better drummer cuz she realized you don't need 8 snares on a kit. 😂 It's like when you discover I Prevail then go back to their cover of Taylor Swifts Blank Space. I love it!

Lip-syncing the guitar solo, though, is buffoonery beyond the pale. I think one can manage to enjoy reacting without being too silly. Try it.
