Picked mine up last Saturday. Not ridden yet as I've been fitting RideWrap and rimpact pros and new peds. Going for it's first ride this weekend. Can't wait.
Thanks Pete, great review! Had my new E+2 here in NZ for a fortnight now and loving it. Climbs well with plenty of power, descends like a bomber. Found I get less pedal strikes in the higher flip chip setting on the climbs without effecting the descent noticably. Heaps of range with the 625 battery - great bike!
@@ABoxIsMyHome I would say the Reign is really designed for trails and more enduro style with its bigger suspension setup. If you're after something for the road mostly but very capable on trails I'd consider maybe the latest Trance range over the Reign?
i love this bike. i bought one. sadly i had to return it as i had a shit ton of problems out of the gate with the 'gateway" system. they replaced it right away, and it still threw the gateway code. so they refunded the purchase. sad though cause my GF has the 2020 reign and the thing is indestructible and soooo awesome.
Nice one Pete, kept waiting for the crash, did well to stay upright. Would have liked to see it doing some big jumps, Stile Cop for the future? Get Nige out on it
Hi do you find there is a lot of clunking noise when descending fast over breaking bumps and roots..mine is super noisey...not sure if it's the motor or rear triangle.
My new 2022 turbo levo alloy is a great bike done over 100 mile in 2 weeks can hardly even hear the motor its so smooth and quick!! Im just a basic rider and its perfect for all the trails by me
29er in the rear ? Hi, great review. Helped me lot in my decision to settle for this ebike. Do you think it is possible to put a 29er in the rear ? Having the intention to try it out in the next weeks.
Great review. I'm in the process of trying to decide on the size. You're on the large here. How tall are you? I'm 6.2 and it recommends large. However I'm thinking XL. Can you help me out here please.
Hey Mike. Definitely go XL. I’m 6 foot and the large feels good, but is definitely a touch smaller than my Trance X that I also own in Large. They have tons of stand over and since this video have fitted a 210mm dropper with no issues.
@@peterbooker1995 it's just the size guide recommended large for me and it's a mine field of choice. Didn't want to spend the money and regret my choice
Bone dry so far and it’s had 2 muddy rides and has been washed twice too. The battery cover can be slightly tricky to fit but if fitted properly no water is getting behind it.
I would disagree with this. The microphone picks up the whirring and makes it sound louder than it really is. We’ve ridden back to back with a latest gen Levo and the Yamaha is definitely quieter.
Great video, I would like to see a comparison to the Trance X E+. I'm trying to decide on which one to buy
Got the E+2, so far so good. Nice suspension. Way better than santa cruz bikes imho. I own a nomad4 . This descends far superior than nomad 4.

I found the low setting too low as well, high setting is spot on.
Hi what’s your opinion now? I’m considering buying one as my main bike
@@ABoxIsMyHome Just over 1000kms now and loving it! No issues with any of the bike.
@@AdamStylesCreativeMetal is this a good bike if it’s mostly just for road use?

Awesome pete good riding accept hitting the 🌳 you must show where them trails are look mint🤘🤘🤘
Nice video, scary riding 😲
Waiting for mine (E+2) 30 days and counting. Cheers!
Good fun though! Exciting times, enjoy it! You will love it.
Done a proper job on this review Pete. You are a natural bud. Wasted behind that counter! UA-cam is your calling. Nice riding too. 👌
Good review, got my first eMTB on order, Giant Reign E+0, hope its as good as the reviews say.
Informative stuff Pete. Now get out on the Trance 😁
Keep your eyes peeled!

Sorry to disappoint you Rod 😉 Those big 2.6inch front tyres certainly are good fun in the mud.
We definitely need Nige out!
Great overview thanks
Sorted Pete , proper review , 👌
Nicely done 👌🏻. Be interested to try the Yamaha motor out
Rob rides Ebikes messured the head angle at 62.9° :)
hey, i love this bike! it rides amazing
Got same bike and its a beast 💪 out of curiosity which bike computer do u use and does it pair with bike ok cheers
Very nice, thanks! What kind of display do you use in this video?
Hi there. This is a Garmin Edge 1000 that I’m running.
@@peterbooker1995 What mount do you use for the Garmin? 🙌

i'm torn between this and the turbo levo alloy. both look great.
This one :) Much better bike and spec at a lower price. Only Has minor problems.
That's what I got from a review.

Same! I like how this has all shimano. But the brose motor is supposed to be really good. He giant is cheaper though!
Great video, give us a shout if any of these bikes in medium ex demos come available 👍🏻 i want to buy brand new but always good to get a deal 😁
Hey sorry for the delay! We have x2 brand new medium's in stock. Give us a shout 01827284720 and we will hook you up a mega deal on a new one :-)

29er in the rear ?
Hi, great review. Helped me lot in my decision to settle for this ebike. Do you think it is possible to put a 29er in the rear ? Having the intention to try it out in the next weeks.
Doubt it, I’d imagine the rear triangle isn’t big enough to facilitate a 29” wheel.
I’d like to see the Trance X E.
Hi
Just curious to know what is your height. I am thinking of buying one
. My height is 176 cm and I am confused between M and L
This or specialized turbo Levo comp alloy?

@@MikesMTBAdventures They definitely size smaller that Nora my due to the low standover. I could easily get on an XL at 6 foot.
How was the battery compartment after that wet spin? Some people have water ingress on the new model which I'd hoped Giant had finally resolved.

any updates?
Has the Pwx3 less power than the pwx2?
What front mudguard you running on it?
Hey man, we are running the rrp pro guard bolt on!

Hi Chris. I’m 6 foot and running a large. Suits me perfectly.
Awesome!
Magic!
Hi can anyone tell me the mileage range on the battery please ?
Depends on use, but you should see between 30 and 50 miles

Do some jumps
compared to specialized levo it has a loudy motor

Correct it defiantly quieter then a Lego side by side
Very clunky when descending over braking bumps and roots...I have this motor in my Trance.
Obviously doesn't read his messages
