Im looking at a 160 because i race enduro. But i have a tight budget and will only be able to afford one bike. I was just wondering in the 160 was still playful and agile enough at slower speeds and on less steep trails which are tighter and twistier.

What do you think about 180+27,5" in the front in this bike + single speed, as a bike park/jibduro build?

These bikes seem very similar to Rocky Mountain's Altitude (160) and Instinct (140).

Got the 160 6K myself, in long and I'm nearly 6'2, didnt even need to adjust the Team TR seatpost, I just dropped it slightly in the frame and run it at full height when not playing. It climbs so well in the saddle, goes down almost like a downhill bike and for me inspires a lot of confidence, especially when the going gets fast

Are you sure about 12-16Nm on the rings? I get 6-8Nm.

I FULLY appreciate this is Shimano only - but I have very recently experienced something similar on my Sram XX1, where the spindle / axle has just started to debond from the crank arm. You can just feel / see a slight movement where the two join. I was riding along a couple of weeks ago and started to hear an odd click on pedal rotation. It took me a brief while to find it, but soon worked out it was the crank to axle interface. Again (and sorry - but Sram XX1) Has anyone else had this?

i love this bike. i bought one. sadly i had to return it as i had a shit ton of problems out of the gate with the 'gateway" system. they replaced it right away, and it still threw the gateway code. so they refunded the purchase. sad though cause my GF has the 2020 reign and the thing is indestructible and soooo awesome.

I have Merida 140 , it's a brilliant bike .

Um, great bikes no question )_ I own the Big Trail 500 (2021) and can vouch for there frame - tough as. However, I do question the lifetime warrantee though. In Australia at least they only warrantee the new 140\160s for 5 years.
