This is exactly what I've been doing. BXR with blunt rounds and travelers chosen. It's a perfect combo
The reason that guy had lances is bc there's a deployable glitch, pick up a lance or tangle right before the round ends and it'll reappear clientside in the same spot you were standing,
ex. pick up a tangle and jump in the air near spawn and it'll be there next round on your end to pick up or grapple/shoot, really hard to pull off consistently tho
I decided to craft bxr the other day after the changes and man perp motion kill clip feels really good and it was consistent which made me happy and this is one of the better lightweight pulses because the stats are very good. Also rapid fire pulses are very good once again
I've had a BXR with small bore, ricochet, rangefinder and snapshot, with a stability Mw thanks to a day one dares drop via a zur's hoard chest. Been a unique roll till the reprised dead rolls in 30th anniversary currently.
Sidearms are my thing travelers chosen is my favorite although i have an honorable mention my spoiler alert sidearm and old one from the vanguard it smacks.
Yeah my go to load outs have been double primary. Messenger with headseeker and drang or Travelers chosen with Elsie’s rifle with headseeker

It is, that thing is super stable and has alot of range.
I dont see how it made sense to change special ammo to picking up boxes when they spawn 2 feet away, both sides get it same time, and it's every round. We are basically spawning with it still. Just no drops on death either
I just commented this weekend about how hype I was you were using this weapon. My favorite in the game. still doesn’t feel the same to me after buffs though
frrr it feels kind of wonky now like they secretly nerfed the handling
Travelers chosen is great but I would highly suggest empirical evidence it’s a strong 2 burst. Encore and adagio are cracked together

i dont know if bungie intended it, but all the dares craftable weapons can get the old perks. BXR with rangfinder sounds interesting even if it did get nerfed. or adrenaline junkie sounds fun.
Recommend Heliocentric heavily. Got heal clip kill clip and tried it on MnK and it fucked

Not sure if you don’t know this only because I don’t see you do it in videos, but if you have a tangle in your hands at the end of a round , it will still be wherever you were standing at the start of the next round. Free grapple point to start of a round. Unless it was patched

@Wallah, if you sit behind a rally barricade and hit headshots, you get a diamond lance
just as a follow up, this is only if you're running the lancecap exotic, but basically it allows you to spawn lances without running the aspect. Hitting all headshots in 1 pulse burst is enough for a lance.
We told him, he just cut the bit where he read chat. We also told him about shattering Stasis Crystals (Glacial Grenade or Hoarfrost-Z Barricade).
Is battler a lightweight frame??
kind of… it’s the same archetype but since it has its own unique hip fire frame, it doesn’t get the plus 20 mobility.
Is this damage increase changing the TTK from .87? It's so damn disappointing that BXR has a bad perk pool. It has kill clip, but everything in the first column is trash. It does have range though, 38 meters with full bore or 37.4 with Hammer forged. It has the same amount of range as a high impact. I'd love to see rapid hit, keep away or zen moment with headseeker on this thing.

I brought out my old 5/5 previously unobtainable battler, it had snapshot rangefinder. ofc arrowhead, accurized, range mw to complete the 5/5. It felt so much better than it ever has

I am damn good at using a shot gun but I can't do it cold I need at least 4 shells to warm up, I don't even bother anymore cause I can't get it going. It is not as easy as people think it is being good shotgunning is a skill it isn't the insta win button they make it out to be. If it is then how come I am constantly shooting people aping with no clue. No, it is a high skill thing those who are good with shotguns are hard to beat cause they have learned to move with them & know when a trigger pull is an instant win instead of insta death, & it isn't as easy as just picking one up otherwise everybody would be doing it. Like sniping it is a high skill, high risk, high reward weapon. By limiting these weapons bungie is trying to help lesser players compete.
