They were in Frenso CA last night and he is right, we held on to those tickets for 3 years.
Rob Thomas and his team are talented, professional and timeless. They kept it simple and presented to us in a way that allowed their music be the star of the show. Fresno absolutely appreciated you and Joe for making it happen for us.
Side note, Rob Thomas is my all time favorite singer. Such passion in his voice.

We didn’t get the memo about the cancellation last year, booked a hotel for 2 nights, showed up to an empty parking lot … it was worth the wait, 3 row in Fresno the other night. Great show!

Lyndsey Parker is annoying, lack of engagement, it's like there's no active engagement going on
I've never seen this woman before, but she does have some weird, fake-looking facial expressions. Her voice grates on me too. Lucky that Rob Thomas is such a gracious and engaging interviewee.
She's so insincere, it's driving me crazy! Eyes looking away the whole time, nodding aloofly. Why was she the person to do this interview?

Rob Thomas is a very positive, genuine, grounded person. WHY is the interviewer so focused on the negative and trying to pull out the "dirt" in this interview. And she looks like a person who is very insecure about herself. Rob is very smart to steer away from the negativity. 😂
They women interviewing Rob is distracting AF LOL. She’s all fidgety and doesn’t seem to be in the moment. Seems very forced and fake…watch the interview with Rob and Larry King, phenomenal interview and I don’t care who you are, you will like Rob after that!

My wife got us tickets, and we saw the Bakersfield show. The band was awesome---everyone had such great energy, and the fans sang along to all the favorites. Rob announced a little after 9pm that the new album had just released, and he wasn't joking---a few minutes later I got a message on my iPhone that my iTunes purchase of the album (I'd paid for it a week prior) was now available for full download. The new album is awesome, with some great new songs. My favorites so far are "Don't Get Me Wrong," "Friends," and "Queen of New York City." Glad to see the band members are great friends, this many years later. Oh, and Joe, the last-minute bass guitar fill-in nailed it, and the fans loved him!

I couldn't imagine anybody else singing Smooth! Rob's tone, phrasing, and inflections are what makes him the great singer that he is. That song would not be the same if sung in a different style.
I've met Rob several times in the early years of Matchbox and he's the most humble, loveliest guys ever (especially for a rockstar). ❤ He would always remember my name too! So happy for his success and long-term career. Just saw this tour & Matchbox sounds better than ever. Go see them! 😊
