This was actually one of the worst carrer moments to AS, this was his first fight after he left Chute Boxe, his former team. Just for context his corner was one of his own students, since he had no team atm.

It was pretty competitive on the whole but I think a lot of that was due to Silva being very wary of Murray’s power after beating Pele. He was a sitting duck in that last round. To be fair to Murray that loss has aged well and if he got himself full-time to the states and kept his head down in a good camp he would have come on a lot.

When Murray was flat footed moving slow as death from getting his legs kicked constantly and getting his head popped back!!!!!!! I understand the home town/country bias but that was shocking, was fairly competitive fight but last round when he said that Murray was spent.
