@@HypertrophyCoach CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES!...SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU!!...HEAR THE LAMENTATIONS OF THE WHAMEN!! can you help me to do this with your coaching program?
I’m glad that I had to skip my training session today, because it was back day and I would have trained before watching this video. This pullover variation looks terrific. I will try it tomorrow morning. Thanks a lot !
Smith Machine RDL gives me consistent lower back tightness....now i did injure it a long time ago but i have yet to be able to rehabilitate it back to where it once was.
We have that Prime Row at my gym. It's a great machine! I notice that you loaded the top peg (beginning of the range?) exclusively. Was that just to emphasize the stretch? I usually load the middle first, then start adding to the top.
It’s not just about overloading the stretch, it’s also about overloading the exercise where it’s mechanically easiest. So I pretty much always put the vast majority on top.
Hey, thanks for the video! Picked up some really good cues on this one. Question, where did you get the long rope that you were using on the cable pullovers? Thanks!!!
Is there anything that help with width especially lower lats or is it just genetics? I've bedn lifting for 40 years and could never develop much of a v-taper. I have a thick back and was pretty good at deadlifts and pullups and always did rows too. Never did much wide grip pulldowns or chins as I heard a close or shoulder width was better and not as bad on the rotators, but was that a mistake of not going wider?
are dead stop rows like in a power rack or off the floor bad even if you do a normal eccentric and get to full hang for a brief moment before resting on the rack? Or does that brief deload of tension in the lengthened position detrimental to hypertrophy?
Muscles produce the most force there (actual internal "bone-to-bone pull"). From a pure length-tension standpoint. Not the external expression of force (as is greatly affected by internal moment arms)
Not so much. Really just turn it into more of a pulldown. (If you look at upper arm position relative to torso). With some unique cuing this position provides.
Should you still use a machine if it feels unbalanced? For ex, my TBar row at my gym feels like it biases my left side note than my right. I feel like it can be an obvious answer of no… or it can be, that movement is so beneficial that you should look pass the minor imbalance

I’ve been doing that pullover variation for the past few months and they’ve been a game changer
I was thinking about trying this myself,I typically do the standing cable pulldown or a dumbbell pullover but I was thinking that this would work

Good info and I love that you guys were concise and to the point with the info on this back workout. Keep the movement going fellas.
Terrence is in top 3 this year I’m calling it now
No chance, although I think he could certainly overpower Urs who’s pretty maxed out he still loses to Breon, Dino, potentially Vissers
as much as i love terrence....with wesley, chris, and ramone its highly unlikely
WAITED FOR U TO MAKE A BACK VIDEO FOR A WHILE NOW....

What’s going on Joe! Love the video. Quick question, would you always add some sort of hip extension exercise for erector work?
I missed you coach🤟
Can you make a video about the profile of that Prime Machine Row? I'm wondering why you put all the weights on the top
That little Ninja should think about doing a bodybuilding show

Whats the difference between standing pullovers and seated incline pull overs!?
Is there anything that help with width especially lower lats or is it just genetics? I've bedn lifting for 40 years and could never develop much of a v-taper. I have a thick back and was pretty good at deadlifts and pullups and always did rows too. Is Ruff Diesel going to compete and try to get to the Olympia this year?
you ever train guys that get sternum pain from heavy chest supported rows?
Ryan Reynolds with a beard?
How you come about, you say that the midrange might be more important than the lengthened position?
Muscles produce the most force there (actual internal "bone-to-bone pull"). From a pure length-tension standpoint. Not the external expression of force (as is greatly affected by internal moment arms)
If you have a prime row where is the best to load it?and why?
Lean forward row for upper back as well or no ? Guessing this is more strict and makes it harder so no ego lifting with arse moving back mid set
Not so much. Really just turn it into more of a pulldown. (If you look at upper arm position relative to torso). With some unique cuing this position provides.
@@HypertrophyCoach thanks should u always interally rotate for cable side delt stuff- u got a video how to interally rotate ?
Luv it
Do you think years of heavy chest supported rows and racking the weight to the left is gonna make a difference? It’s always left…
No. Same as we are in the rest of life. One sided and repetitive
Should you still use a machine if it feels unbalanced? For ex, my TBar row at my gym feels like it biases my left side note than my right. I feel like it can be an obvious answer of no… or it can be, that movement is so beneficial that you should look pass the minor imbalance
If it’s subtle, it’s likely not a big deal.
