Dr. Lori, you mentioned the seams on the milk glass, that they were on the sides but not on the bottom, but didn't say whether that made a difference. I listened 3/4 times trying to understand if there was a difference in value depending on where the seams showed. I think you will be as impressed as I am at his workmanship he put into it. My mother came from a family of 12 kids, and she had 5 kids. We all sat on it. When my mother died, I got everything no one else wanted. Their loss.
really great video. I like how you fit different glass "types" and "styles" into one video. I got so much information.
Thanks for watching and the feedback. I have a few other vids on glass on the channel, plus more in the editing room :)
@@DrLoriV I'm actually going through your back log now. I'm learning about Ceramics.."The brighter and whiter."

I would like to know do you travel to California? I love to see you personally. Of course when the pandemic is over.I love your humor and all the good information you are giving us. Thank you!
My events get scheduled when groups in California invite and host me! You've got to tell your local fair, festival, museum, home & garden show, financial advisor, etc. to host a Dr. Lori event.
@@DrLoriV Thank you for the information. I will definitely try. Stay safe and healthy.
That Vaseline glass piece looked like Davidson Primrose. I have a little creamer in it and it is beautiful.

Ohh and glass fruit :)
Welcome. Thanks for watching. I can help identify and value your plates, dishes, etc. I look at photos and do video chats.
Hi Dri. Lori. You were recommended to me to possibly get an appraisal on some old fashioned, gold rimmed champagne glasses I have.
Yes, I can help. All the options are on my website.
You have a great stage presence.
I love her strength, directness, no-BS manner. I wish the audio quality was better because I have a hearing disability, and auto-generated subtitles are not necessarily accurate (LOL). Still, when I understand what she's saying, she makes a world of sense. And she's waaaaay too strong a woman and personality for PBS! A great youtube find!
Thanks for watching. Sorry about the audio. This was an older video. Newer videos are shot using a better microphone on me, but sometimes in the convention hall it's just hard to get everyone on mic and keep the show going. Thanks for understanding.
thanks Dr. Lori love all your videos
Thanks for watching Joy :)
Thank you so much! How do we attend one of the shows?
New locations are added all the time on my website at www.DrLoriV.com/events
Love you, Dr. Lori! Have a Great Thanksgiving!
David, you too!!
You are absolutely the best!!!!
Thanks Sandra. Happy to hear you like the vids
Great video. Very informative. thanks
Thanks for watching Paula
Yes more Vaseline glass ! or more specifically more uranium glass ! I want to see how any of these glow in blacklight ! Dr. Lori does all glass that floreces under black light mean it's made with uranium? Or is it just before the 1940s?
I have more videos about glass coming up. Concerning your question about blacklight ... Not necessarily.
LOL sitting here eating chocolate pudding! Hope I can find the items I have on Dr. Lori's shows.
If you can't find them in my videos, you can send me photos or show me during a video call.
Can you get pictures? I have a big medicine ball size ball of glass. It’s cobalt blue. Curious about it and would love to know more about it
Yes send pictures using a form on my website.
You are hilarious !! thanks for educating us in a fun way :,)
I have a glass bottle that I would like to know if it is worth anything, and what it is. Where do I send a picture?
Thank you!
To send me photos, use the form on my website. To get to the form, watch a video and click on the "i" icon in the top right corner. See my face? Click on that and it will take you to the Send Photos form on my website.
I like this woman!
Cool very educational. Thank you!
Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to share the knowledge
Dr. Lori, you mentioned the seams on the milk glass, that they were on the sides but not on the bottom, but didn't say whether that made a difference. I listened 3/4 times trying to understand if there was a difference in value depending on where the seams showed. Seems that the seams- hahahahaha- that show on the side would devalue it more than seams on the bottom, yes??
It does not make a difference in value!
Hi dr m Lori. Love milk glass
Does Libbey candlelight stemware have any value?

where do you get your values from? $800 for that Cupid and Venus pitcher? you can get it on ebay now for $8 to $18.00
Good question Kathy. eBay shouldn't be used as a price guide. People sell for much more money at other places. Read my article for more details if you like at www.drloriv.com/Blog/ID/4099/Dont-Use-eBay-as-a-Price-Guide
Love your humor and knowledge ❤️
Thanks for watching Kaz
