Hey there Brian! You picked up some great titles. That Tinted Windows intrigued me. The personnel in that record is enough to peak anyone’s interest. OK, you and I have a thing going on bro 😎 not like that though. I’m referring to Bill Evans being your favorite artist. He is God to me in the music realm. We can talk Bill anytime! Craft does nice work. I own 2 OGs of You Must Believe In Spring but I still ‘sprung’ for the Craft 180g reissue last year. Nice Parliament grab! I love me some R&B funk/rock and soul. The Jazz Dispensary puts out some great stuff too. Last year I picked up the Johnny Hammond Gears album with the T-Shirt and was very pleased with the purchase. That Alex Chilton is cool. Glad you had great record store day. 👍🏽👍🏽✌🏽 Steve
"Recording with a potato in their pocket" haha. Nice haul, I'll grab that Bill Evans at some point, hate to miss it this year. Love the enthusiasm as always my man.
great you found and enjoyed the Tinted Windows record! My wife and I (or maybe just me) will be doing a RSD video sometime this week hopefully. Assuming my wife is included, she will definitely speak more about her appreciation and perspective with that record (she's a massive Fountains of Wayne and Adam Schlesinger fan).
Good choice of albums, sir. I bought both the Stones and both the Dirty Heads records. I think the line up of customers was the longest I've seen in recent years.
Damn! Nice selections! If my store had the Witchfinder General, i definitely would’ve picked that up. I did get that Stones. Is it the best thing ever? No. But, still really cool live versions. Great descriptions on everything else! Cheers brother!🍻
If I had known about Tinted Windows, I probably would have looked for it, but as I went late it might have been gone. I would have liked to have gotten the Parliament record as well. Nice haul.
Hi Alex! I love the look of that Bill Evans release. Live Stones looks good too. I'm not a huge RSD guy, and ended up at a record show on Sunday instead. Looks like you got some good stuff.
Hey Alex !! Cool to see you piked up the Witchfinder General. I didn't really review the RSD list well but I don't think the store I went to have the Parliament. Hmm maybe I should of looked at that Stones NYC better. I also passed on the Band X I might go back look for it now. nice pick ups. cheers!!!
Thanks Vance! There's always a handful of records I go back to after watching everyone's videos about them... maybe I need to pick up some more too. Cheers brother!
The Parliament debut looks good. Not a fan of the current Rolling Stones but I think Mick Jagger is the 2nd best Rock singer. I saw Alex Chilton at Al’s Bar in the early 80’s. What a great show. He did Box Tops, Big Star and solo material. That Band X is the type of RSD stuff I love. Not everyone digs Bill Evans. He is okay.
Wow you got quite the RSD haul there my friend! You picked up a couple titles I thought about but didn’t grab. Christ! The relatives of Bill Evans put out something every freaking RSD don’t they?! I don’t go early but I still love RSD. I’m always excited about some of the releases. My only gripe is there are too many higher priced ones. Can’t buy too much. Great video Alex!
the prices are wild... absolutely. There are still a handful of reasonably priced records (this seems to be any single LP less than $30) but the doubles that are going for 40-45 is just too much. Especially since 90% of what I usually buy are $10 used records! Sheesh.. thanks Gary!
I liked seeing what you picked up on RSD. I spent my $20 gift certificate at my local record store, and one of the things I brought home was a UK band CD we both like. When I came home and started playing the albums, I found 2 booklets in the CD. The one underneath was autographed! I made a video about this. It will be on 4/29. I am really excited about this find. Have fun spinning the new colorful records.
I got my Joe Pesci record like I was telling you about a while back in a live lol. I also grabbed Parliament, Penrose Showcase vol. 2, and Buena Vista Social Club, and I ordered The Westbound Sound from Plaid Room this morning. So I got everything I wanted. . . My son is asking when his coke bottle black swirl Ironsides record is coming in from you now bro? 🤣🤣🤣. Good shit broskie
Some quality picks! I decided to skip RSP this year as nothing really jumped out at me as a need-to-have exclusive, as some of what did interest me is either cheaper for an already out there edition or will likely see a release later.
Great finds my friend.
I would also call that “orange”. Haha.
Thanks brother! Nothing burnt about it
I’m so glad you started your channel!
Love your knowledge Alex!
I’ll grab that Parliament eventually 👊🏻
Cheer Anthony! You're the best.. hope to see you soon!
Great haul Bro! Alex Chilton, nice, glad you had a good RSD, The VC showed up full force for this one, it was impressive, have a great week!
Absolutely they did! It's great to see so many people out there. Cheers!

It was a great day for sure! Thanks so much, Steve! That You Must Believe in Spring is a beautiful record. Cheers brother!

yes sir.. you will love that Bill! Appreciate you brother
Hey, buddy!! Nice haul!!! I saw Kendra Morris (Karma Chief Records) live yesterday at RSD event @Daddy Kool Records!!! She was great!!!
That's so awesome! Kendra is so dope!
great you found and enjoyed the Tinted Windows record!

Thanks Kyle! Spun it again this morning and loved it even more!
Good choice of albums, sir. I bought both the Stones and both the Dirty Heads records. I think the line up of customers was the longest I've seen in recent years.
Absolutely agree! The lines seem to be getting longer and longer, which is good for the day and for the stores. Hope you enjoy those records!
I've only heard Sweet Sound of Heaven from The Rolling Stones' record but Mick sounds amazing. And the man is 80. It's incredible.
I totally agree! No disrespect towards the man at all!
The Gandalf is getting a general release. If you don’t need the colored green vinyl I wouldn’t sweat it.
Oh for sure!
Damn! Nice selections! If my store had the Witchfinder General, i definitely would’ve picked that up. I did get that Stones. Is it the best thing ever? No. But, still really cool live versions. Great descriptions on everything else! Cheers brother!🍻
Couldn't agree more on that Stones! Let me know if you're interested in that Witchfinder General.. i think some local places still have!
If I had known about Tinted Windows, I probably would have looked for it, but as I went late it might have been gone. I would have liked to have gotten the Parliament record as well. Nice haul.
Thanks Randy! Thoroughly enjoyed both of them!
Hi Alex! I love the look of that Bill Evans release. Live Stones looks good too. I'm not a huge RSD guy, and ended up at a record show on Sunday instead. Looks like you got some good stuff.
Thanks brother! Totally understand it not being for everyone.. but hope you snagged some good stuff on Sunday!
@@beerandvinyl I got an amazing haul! My lucky day!
"Look...they're old. They're OLD! Mick's old..." 🤣🤣🤣
tell me i'm wrong!
@@beerandvinyl 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That's awesome about seeing Alex! That must have been amazing. And you're right, I guess everyone doesn't dig Bill... cheers Richie!

No concerns there! Totally understand that. Hope you're able to get some good stuff after the fact!
The store I went to yesterday morning was selling the Parliament for $57, had to pass on it. Oh, yeah and F the gatekeepers!!!
fuck the gatekeepers... and fuck $57 on that! Are you kidding?!!? ABSURD
$57 Yikes
