Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
Hi, great detailed video. I’ve just finished my “3 months” and was trying to work out why I didn’t have my 7 day view back. I have 3 x Arlo 2 connected to my base station and I realised I connected these 2 x Arlo Pro 5s to the WiFi. I’ve just removed the camera through the app and reinstalled it again this time connecting it to the base station - after moving about and knowing recorded video should be there it is still asking for me to upgrade to a plan. I didn’t understand it to be like this. Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to add a USB?
Hi Geoff, In Australia, a single camera subscription is $4.99 a month, or you can get the multi-camera option which covers an unlimited number of cameras and costs $12.99 a month, or $9.99 a month if purchased as an annual plan. Hope that helps
Excuse me, I bought a camera of the same one but I don't know how to install it at all, could you give me the intention of how I can install it please?
Hi Barry, the base is an optional accessory. You can use the base if you want to have an option for local storage, but you do not need the base for the cameras to work. Without the base your only storage option is cloud.
How hard is to contact customers service if a problem cimes up? Also does the pro 5 have solar powered panels out yet?

I have Arlo Pro 2 cameras. Can we install 2 of the new Arlo Pro 5 2K using the existing base?
Hi Joyce, Yes. Also, you can connect the Pro 5 cameras directly to your wifi
