The fact that you PERSONALLY redrew this person's board and upgraded their website? Is a generous effort I cannot find anywhere else. Thank you for doing this for them. You're indeed skilled, and incredible at what you do.
Great video! I would love to hear you talk about things a professional TV storyboard artist can do if they want to make the transition to film. What are the biggest differences? how can they craft a portfolio to help show they can do more than just TV?
I noticed that when the mouse saw the lightswitch then bit the cat, he was thrown in the opposite direction of his target, then seems to magically appear on the table. Maybe have the cat drop the mouse a bit short of the table, then he scrambles up the leg of it?
Yeah I noticed that as well after! I had a bit about the mouse biting the cat letting go or uses the cat to jump off of, but kept it out of the final cut because i didnt notice the mouse looked at the light switch before, and used that as the reasoning, but realized i was wrong and just didnt catch it.
Awesome video, I think it's incredible you take the time to review and even redraw some frames. Personally, I'm just starting with drawing. I hope by the time I'll be more experienced and have my story portfolio, I will find someone as willing to help others as you are.
Hey I have a question. Are feature film studios still using Photoshop for boarding, or have they finally moved over to Storyboard Pro? Adobe has been very bad lately, and I don't want to subscribe to them anymore, so I'd rather just use other software instead of Photoshop...
lots of studios are allowing storyboard pro now too! at least DreamWorks is. I'm not totally sure which studios aren't. In any case, your portfolio doesn't have to be done in PS even though you might need to work in PS while at the studio
