They need to put the Sierra Railway 3 whistle on the pere marquette so it matches up with the movie since the pere marquette is the Locomotive that The Polar Express is based off of

I love the small attention to detail to the headlight of the Polar Express. We know that later on in the movie, the engineer and fireman are at the front of the locomotive fixing the headlight. And at 1:59 you can notice that the headlight suddenly flickers on as the train exits the tunnel, hinting at the next scene.

Are we just gonna ignore that train has 14 more coaches going through the Forest than in most other scenes in the movie? The main coach was still the 4th one. I played that scene in slow motion specifically so I can count the cars. Most of the time there’s 5, but here there are 19 coaches. Naturally, there should be a lot more than that if you’re taking tons of children to the North Pole.
Well, I was curious about this too but after all, it is a magic train for one, and for two, it only takes the most special of children, even those who at first do not believe in the true spirit of Christmas. It is a bit disappointing that we find out that the whole movie was just based on a dream the main character the boy had as it is kind of cliche but who am I to say that this movie wasn't magical at it's finest and a very nice tribute to train enthusiast like myself.
