Got my copy of Fire in the Sky on War Games Vault and am working on the models currently. Mark's game holds a special place in my heart since my father was in the USAAF 9th Army-Air Corp and since his passing all I have left are his recorded stories from his memories.
As a watcher of Mark's Game room, Fire in the Sky having been showcased recently I'm definately interested in, and for anyone interested watching Marks videos on this are must watch imo, they cover an AAR a how to play and some modelling the squadrons advise.
3:15 Indeed you dare, and indeed you did.
Great update Alex. I also downloaded my copy of Fire In The Sky. I will look forward to your game! My next painting project will be some PICO Midway Planes in anticipation of Marks Midway update.
Thank you!
Congratulations on the 13k. The comparisons I did on my channel of Epic Pike and Shotte showed Peter Pig were a very good fit too
Cheers Dom, yeah it's a real shame neither PP or PSC make Napoleonics...
Great episode mate!! Tiny looks to approve of the new home and sporting a snazzy collar!! (Yes I only watch for Tiny lol)
Cheers, yeah, Tiny is loving the place and her new collar. I'd say 99% of viewers are only here for Tiny as well...😂😂
Congratulations on your 13,000. Well deserved Tiny for a great channel.
Cheers! She's the star!
28's: 20 orcs, painted on sprue, need assembly n bases. Got 12 mounted knights to assemble n paint. Horses just need paint.
Great update 👍
Thanks 👍
I can't wait for the second edition of the CoC Pacific supplement. I already have some ideas for the New Guinea campaign
13,000 subs!! Absolutley splendid and well deserved. The quality of content, knowledge and insight is always compelling and we thoroughly enjoy it round our house❤ onwize and upwize is beastwize!!
Cheers D Man! Very much appreciated!
Seem to be reading my mind. I am on the lookout for different suppliers of 15mm Nap Miniatures. Especially as the commanders are very boring after the 2nd. So your upcoming video is very welcome!
I have Fire in the Sky.
I love the abstraction and control by squadrons.
It seems an excellent size to represent the sharp end of combat missions.
I never found a convincing "cardboard flight simulator" games with 1:1 dogfights.
The whole "5 minutes to complete 3 seconds of flying" completely erased any immersion.
I don't have a large enough table to accommodate 1/300 or 1/600 models in sections.
My solution is to create and print plan views of sections of aircraft.
If I have one reservation, I'm not entirely convinced that the actual rules contain all the details described in the videos that support the game.
I'll need to have a few solo games and see how they play.
I'm looking forward to the Chain of Command Far East Handbook.
So long since it's announcement that it's almost as forgotten as the army whose actions it depicts.
Carcass? Nice. Some nice topics. I'm also looking forward to the Epic to 15mm size comparison. 😊
Symphonies of Sickness...
Awesome shirt!
Looking forward to Fire in the Sky, seen the series on Mark's Game Room for it. If you make any progress on third party 3d printers, could you include that in a future bench report? I've been trying to find some for a long time, but no luck.
It's a good game and I'm editing the video as we speak! As for 3rd party people, check out Sabotag3d, Paul can be quite accommodating.
@@StormofSteelWargaming thanks, I'll have to check them out!
Well done on the 13000! Great channel 👍
Cheers buddy!
Koninklijk Nederlands Indisch Leger - KNIL, (Roughly - Royal Dutch Indies Army).
So many projects and so little time!😐 So why am I searching for KNIL minis at seven in the morning!?
LOL, you're already obsessed!
“Playboy Centerfold.” 😂
Check out those 36 inchers!
That's conjured up a terrible image of Ken and that Jutland double page spread...

Good Sunday afternoon
How's Kitty handling the new digs?
She loves it!
I see Fire In The Sky and thought you'd bought the board game from about 15 years ago by that name, about WWII in the Pacific.
No, I don't even know what that game is
Nostalgia ain't what it used to be .....
Rose tinted glasses, baby...
Mmmm Fire in the Sky.... do you get young ladies in RAF uniforms to move the pieces around with long sticks???
I wish!
Can i ask what manufacturer your aircraft are ?
Paul at Sabotag3d printed them for me. You'll have to email him to ask about them.
