As a fellow chronic pain patient, I love that you said, "It's only 5 minutes away from being tidy." That's so much more attainable than ALWAYS tidy! Thank you for this freeing thought.
You are right about organized people!! You have small children at home!! My energy is sometimes wiped out and stuff will have to wait!!
Great ideas! Good to keep in mind so i stop comparing myself to someone else.
You have the most pleasant, positive personality, thanks for the tips as I have been stressing about not having ALL my spaces organized! A great reality check
Thanks, Laura! This was super helpful. I realized I had a lot of these misconceptions and 'becoming organized forever' is not exactly a realistic goal! I appreciate the balance of real life as well as simply grace to accept what I can do and not worry about what isn't perfect.
Thank you for sharing!!! I always enjoy your videos!
I like what you said about not organizing/cleaning/tidying alone. Getting help from others (whether hiring someone or having volunteer helpers) is beneficial in many ways!
I think when you are starting out trying to become organizing, one should be as tidy as possible with the normal life stuff. Only because we are trying to make new habits and that is definitely necessary. Thanks.😉👍❤
I take exception with the word ‘lazy’. It is soooo negative. We ALL have times of minimal energy for many different reasons and we shouldn’t label ourselves as lazy. I think we need to show ourselves as much grace as we would someone else in the same situation.
Chronic nerve pain body here I appreciate that you include your health concerns when having a conversation about realistically managing the home and dumping the fantasy home which is an illusion. It's nice to have a dream and a vision IMO as long as this fantasy and vision does not shame and blame us into thinking we are not tidy _or fill in the blank-usually boils down to we feel imperfect and not good enough..❤ one of my teachers quotes it's okay to be FLAWSOME (Robert Ohotto).. thanks Laura for another great video!😮
Thank you! I am one of the organized but messy, I know where everything is and am at peace with my mess.😀
Yes, don’t love the process but enjoy the results
You are the best! Thank you so much for making this one ❤
I agree. I do not like the cleaning and mess but love organizing. Thanks for doing your videos.
Thank you for your honesty
Great thoughts. I fit many of them!
I just don’t like that you compare minimalism as living in a tiny house with two pots. It’s so much more then that with less things….
