It could be just me, but I actually *LIKE* the brighter green highlighted models. The stand out more than the other models. Just a couple of highlights here and there in the brighter colour like you've done gives the models a little bit more colour contrast IMO. Love the Mobile Infantry theme.
Yeah I do like them and they stand out more, I just don't think I did a great job with the highlights. Thought I'd leave them in there to show that sometimes you can just mess something up 😂
I appreciate the video and showing off some minis that you don't really think pop on the table. I think the green ones would look better with their cloth painted dark grey/black. And if you put the visor head on them, that might make them stand out more
Yeah I love the sculpts, but I just went with colours that blended too much, and then I did a relatively poor job with my highlighting. I wanted to still include the mistakes to show that they happen.
They are well painted, perhaps the fatigues underneath could've been painted with khaki, that generally helps the green of the body armour to stand out, but it is a matter of personal tastes, f.e. example a military green as VMC olive Grey (70.888) has a more US army-like look.👌
I know what you mean about the color blob on the table top, things look good by themselves until they are in masses. Are we supposed to use contrasting colors to make them pop on the table?
Yeah I think these would have definitely looked better with a nice contrasty red gone to give them something that stands out, or just a different uniform. I really am tempted to do the white armor 😂
@@GrayScalpMiniatures nice I have the strategy game got it from CDkeys for like 18 euro so I got it haven't had a chance to play it yet. Last time I saw it I was like IL get it later and when I went back a couple days later it was gone and out of stock for weeks ha
