For anyone considering Artel W models, do keep in mind that the scale of those models is slightly smaller than regular GW minis, which makes them slightly more difficult to paint and might cause size disparages with the rest of your army. That being said the quality and detail of the sculpts is superb, and the attention in delivery and customer support is great. Also, they have some of the BEST Eldar-like minis out there
Gotta disagree with that. Some of their minis are kind of smaller than GW, others are a bit bigger. That said, I highly recommend getting their products, they are just marvelous!
True, though some companies are kind of the opposite. At least the one I know that is way cheaper than gw and great quality is wargames Atlantic. Though they are largely only useful for impy guard.

I'm a Drukhari player and I've been loving the Void Elves line from Raging Heroes for a mostly female army. Warmachine Cryx models are also great for representing Coven stuff
I love that you have collected almost every chaplain. I have pretty much every squig-related model (including forgeworld), but haven't looked at the range for a while. I recently realised that they released another goblin warboss on a giant squig model, and I was like... do I really need another one? XD Haven't caved yet, but we'll see. lol

I do have the colossal squig, squig gobba and the command trio (with shaman, BSB and fancy boss on giant squig). Only recently started collecting money 40k, I have some sororitas and Drukhari.
I appreciate I’m late commenting but I’ve just brought from Alternative minis, do their models need to be washed before assembly. Any tips you could pass too would be helpful :)
That Grivus model is my favorite overlord. Spent a good amount of time to make him look perfect. Such a nice model. That same company has a great solution for the extra necron bits for immortals/deathmarks and uses the other set of arms. They also look pretty close to some Grivus guards as well.

I'm sure you didn't want to make a video specifically dedicated to ArtelW, but boy, just about every model they make in there is glorious. The Iron Horde range specifically is really amazing.
Not a single mini, but Wargames Atlantic has a number of plastic kits that could easily be used as Imperial Guard. They don't have all of the guard regiments represented, but they can easily provide fodder for Vostroyan, Steel Legion, Kriegsmen, Tempestus Scions, and even Squats. Moreover, their Afghan Tribesmen box can act as serviceable Tallarn of a slightly different flavor, though you'll need to source separately some parts for the futuristic weapons and equipment. (On the plus side, the Afghan Warrior box gives you 40 models for $35, which is a tremendous deal, especially if you want to make use of loads of Conscripts).

My favorite 3rd party is PuppetsWar from poland: Super quality 3D-prints, awesome concepts like the Ork Fleshbusters, the O-Team Battlevan or Orkboss Bruise Pain!❤
The tau biker could make for good counts-as tetras, since they're around biker size. Personally my favourites that I've seen have been Mantic's forge fathers, basically squats, and they have the added bonus of already being an army in Warpath, a totally not 40k inspired wargame.
The only caveat is that according to GW rules, you can’t use these models at Warhammer World tournaments. This might not be important to anyone outside of Britain, but for me, it’s more significant.
I believe I already saw Creature Caster listed for their amazing demons. Also have to throw out Popgoesthemonkey for their awesome bits. They have started doing full models too. I'm currently painting up Grossblum the plague demon lord and its such a great model.
In no particular order but here are some of my favorites: - pretty much all of victoria miniatures, can't pick a favorite but they truly give the guard the love it deserves can't give enough credit to them - creature caster's plague angel, probably the best nurgle mini out there, it just screams pure death, sorrow and destruction, no happy fat guys with tentacles everywhere, that's the true lord of decay for me. - kromlech ork juggernaut mecha armours, the best and most detailed models you can find for meganobz, they also have a bigger warboss and mek version - artel W,s red pact and the blood hauptmann traitor comissar, just give us traitor guard already - kromlech gore legion - all the slaanesh stuff from wargame exclusive, just rock n' fuckin roll they absolutely nailed it - wargame exclusive's not shadowsun, not farsight and not crisis suits - puppetswar's bargheist fiends, hounds and whatever the third option was, nothing over a cute demon doggo - raging heroes mantis warriors aka totally not daemonettes, very much the oldschool metal ones but more refined and modernized, not safe for children wink wink
Funny how primaris are the most up to date and frequently released models from GW but are still the models I 3rd party convert the most. Marines just aren't marines if they aren't in mark III iron armor.
I just recently bought that jungle commissar, and may have to add a couple gloss coats now... I love Kromlech orks, they have so many great models, I would probably build my list exclusively from them if I was starting my orks from scratch. The Greater Good line from wargameexclusive makes for some amazing characters and unique models to mix into any tau army. Also shout out to anvil industries and victoria miniatures for their guard lines

The best ones are gonna be little board game minis or old weird figures from thrift stores that you slap a gi-joe gun and some rivets and make your own Ork Boss.
I have some heads from puppets war and I was a little disappointed, I did buy second-hand though, they could have been recasts. I'll have to give them another try

If you like chaplains, a guy on cults 3d named McAngry did an awesome Terminator Chaplain that's 3d printable. The Makers cult did a chaplain, a homie named Sumbu did another Terminator Chaplain, every 3d designer has done a chaplain it feels like but these are my favorites.
I'm kinda new to 40k but these 3rd party models would I get any grief if I wanted to enter a tournament or games workshop events with these models in my army? Or are these models more for friend games and collecting?
It’s fine for casual games at a local game store, but almost every Games Workshop and tournament is going to say no to third party models. If you’re looking for competitive play, it’s not the way to go.

Saying that, I think your vids would be more entertaining with sound effects/audio cuts. No idea how you could do that but it just seems to me like some kind of theatrical audio inflections would be the roux that binds your sauce. I'm probably wrong though. I wouldn't take advice from someone who wakes up thinking about how great my poop will be if there's new hobby vids to watch. Although you did mention you just started collecting Orks....

One of my personal favorites. "Grossblum: plague demon Lord) from popgoesthemonkey. It looks way better than the GW nurgle daemon prince, comes with more weapon options and is only a few $$ more.
I bought someones warmahordes army to be my counts as Crusaders for my Sisters army. Forget their names but they just needed to have their spears replaced with swords to go with the shields. Also came with one of their walkers but it's waaaaay to small to be a Dreadnaught... but I plan to give it to Slaanesh at some point. Which brings me to where most of my 3rd part models as. Lots n lots of daemon princes/princess and Heralds from various sources. Have a bunch of raging heroes (khornettes), praying mantis gals from that company (forget their name). Even some that are ment to be dark elves but screw it... they did make Slaanesh after all. Also raging heroes "Seekers". Daemons have to be the easiest for 3rd party sources tho. So thanks for some cool stuff I hadn't heard of.
Most of their stuff is. If I'm being honest though, their French Resistance is their worst kit. Detail is good, but they included a really poor selection of weapons for them. Way too many SMGs, not enough rifles.
I feel like the flaming or skull was a nod to ghost rider because Johnny blaze also wear a leather jacket and has a shot gun in the end of the first movie

I recently got the Grivus model and IMO it looks even better IRL. The mandalorian model from Wargame Exclusive is also an excellent model.

You're likely to be told not to use them in a GW store also, as typically they only allow the use of models they can sell in store.

Raging heroes and their "not-Sororitas" are something to behold... Their not-Celestine kicks GW's "version" so hard in the butt she reached apotheosis! You might not have prior experience with their products, so no outrage... But I had to mention them for all those comment-readers....
Yea. I have their "terminator" armors. My only gripe is I wish they were larger. Otherwise, they are amazing.
Punga Miniatures Skaven models are quite nice. Creatures Casters are good with daemons. Puppetswar head bits are perfect.

I think you missed a trick with the Raging Heroes line. They have some of the baddest guard characters around.
One of my personal favorites. "Grossblum: plague demon Lord) from popgoesthemonkey. It looks way better than the GW nurgle daemon prince, comes with more weapon options and is only a few $$ more.

I bought someones warmahordes army to be my counts as Crusaders for my Sisters army. Forget their names but they just needed to have their spears replaced with swords to go with the shields. Also came with one of their walkers but it's waaaaay to small to be a Dreadnaught... but I plan to give it to Slaanesh at some point.
Which brings me to where most of my 3rd part models as. Lots n lots of daemon princes/princess and Heralds from various sources. Have a bunch of raging heroes (khornettes), praying mantis gals from that company (forget their name). Even some that are ment to be dark elves but screw it... they did make Slaanesh after all. Also raging heroes "Seekers".
Daemons have to be the easiest for 3rd party sources tho. So thanks for some cool stuff I hadn't heard of.

Victoria Miniatures has some great resin minis from Oz... Brother Vinni is akin to ArtelW, but they take FOREVER to ship.
I found the same, I've just got to the point it allows me time to finish a whole bunch other miniatures before they get delivered.
Another great company is Wargames Atlantic, their box sets are super cheap and really good quality!
Most of their stuff is. If I'm being honest though, their French Resistance is their worst kit. Detail is good, but they included a really poor selection of weapons for them. Way too many SMGs, not enough rifles.
