My top 10 that I’d like to see in this new game are as follows 10. Rear view mirrors on views outside the car 9. More sponsors for the paint booth 8. All 3 series with the career mode starting in the Truck series 7. Better pre race ceremonies 6. If they’re going to use the Next Gen car with one lug nut make pit stops realistic and as quick as they would be in real life 5. Unlocking paint schemes and newer tracks 4. Better graphics to show the drivers as they look today 3. Online leagues 2. Burnouts with victory lane celebration not one or the other 1. Must have duel races to set the lineup for the Daytona 500 to start the season
Custom schedule, all three series plus a ground floor series like dirt, modified, late model, or even ARCA, Paint Booth, Fantasy Tracks, and rear view mirrors.
I want... 1. A throwback style mode where you can start your career in 1980 and work forward, racing against legends on throwback tracks. 2. Silly season to feel like a franchise mode 3. Multiple cars per gamer team 4. Truck, Xfinity and Cup racing 5. Custom scheduling for every season of career mode 6. Drivers abilities changing each season, and teams ratings changing each season 7. A paint mode that will allow you to make a realistic looking paint scheme
If iRacing was smart... one game release per 3 years: DLC's for each new year for tracks/roster updates... Use the main game as a base, release DLC's for legends, SLM's, etc. If they can nail the main engine/physics, it shouldn't require a new release each year. Saves devs time/effort to better focus on important stuff, and lets be honest, how many people actually do a 20 season career in the one year lifespan of games normally? Makes no sense. So: pop out NASCAR 25. - paint scheme DLC's, challenges, bug fixes for the next 3 months, add features - 1st DLC - 2nd DLC - 3rd DLC (completes the 1 year usual lifespan) - tracks, maybe additional racing series - side focus on continually optimizing various aspects, again, fixing any lingering bugs, etc. Start of Year 2 - DLC for new season update (rosters, tracks for 2026) - UI refresh - Continue to release DLC's for paint schemes, features, challenges. Makes it financially viable (which is a must, like it or not), while being supported for a reasonable amount of time. We do NOT need a brand new roll out every year. If iRacing puts out something very solid, I would completely support a DLC roadmap. As for features: - the ability to mod the game if we desire (unlikely, but one can wish) - VOICE ACTIVIATED CREW CHIEF! Sort of from F1 23, being able to speak to your CC and prep for adjustments, pit strategy on the fly while being able to focus on racing and not toggling menu options is a BIG thing. - Intimidate/Share draft. This needs to come back in some form with the concepts of Friends/Rivals - D...N...F... DNQ's would be nice too, but I'll take the ability to DNF if you screw up. - Option pre-race to 'push the legal envelope' of a car, for respective gains in engine, chassis, aero, etc. Increasing the risk/reward increases the change you will get popped during inspection. Would make for another nice tactical layer that is present in actual racing
one thing is that it doesnt have to be a new game every year why not one game every five years or just have NASCAR the game, and bring in the new cars for each year on top of each year
Yep I agree with all of the except the no Xfinity and trucks I like being able to race my way up I even liked the old games where you would be in the modifieds and get a call to drive a truck or Xfinity and if you perform good you get a contract
Hope they add a feature that it cycles through gen 4, car of tommorow, gen 6 old and new, and gen 7, from 2000 to current, this is probably a bit too much, but its iracing.
I’m hoping for lots of stats Historical sortable stats that both show a drivers entire career up to the game, but also love records them as you progress through a career/season mode Wins, top 5s/10s, laps lead, points finishes, etc
Need a great career mode with driver swaps and owner mode while driving for another team. Plus more options to choose when adjusting your car in practice for raceday
Why do I agree with most of this stuff? The league racing, the paint booth, and the trading paints style paint scheme showcase? As a league racer, I think all of this would be great ideas! Absolutely love it!
Give us 80s-2008 stuff, that’s when nascar was nascar and are the most popular eras in nascar. I want to play in a gen 3 or 4 car with rookie Jeff Gordon or dale sr in the speed era. We want the best of nascar. The most popular times in nascar and be able to compete against the greats.
Custom schedule Custom racecar International racetracks New car Manufacturers Custom time of day of the race Old school racecars Old school racecar drivers Option for yellow line rule for Daytona and Talladega Race back to the caution No stages as an option
I agree but instead of fantasy tracks do dlc tracks... you know dlc will be a thing... so instead of us paying for paint schemes, just do updates for them and dlc for tracks and cars... anyone hoping for no dlc doesnt understand the market anymore... companies will always do dlc to make more money... so I'd rather pay for tracks/older gen cars and maybe older drivers (legends)
I’d LOVE a “community creations”, seeing people make paint schemes and uploading them for public download. I don’t know how possible this is but it would be cool.
IMO The new NASCAR Game under the iRacing banner should have the ARCA Menards Series and The Whelen Modified Series alongside All 3 NASCAR Touring Divisions: Trucks, Xfinity & Cup And they should also add Legendary Even if they aren't necessarily on the Top 75 list
Would love the PC version to allow users to create their own leagues and create as many drivers as they want while also allowing to import images or the schemes themselves
Some of the stuff i would like to see in the next Nascar game is something like In career mode you can change the schedule and have like the Roval as the championship
League Racing Custom cars (downloadable scheme creation) A good career mode (eventually add lower series such as the Weekly Tour or even Modifides) Mirror and gas meter Caution Replays (PLEASE) Own a team and retire/owner driver
1. Ability to mod like nr2003 Career mode 2. Hire drivers to create your own team 3. Contracts in career mode 4. Team does not reset at the beginning of every year like in the heat series 5. One thing that is in the papyrus nr2k games that I’ve never seen in a nascar game since is complete ability to edit the AI opponents skill. Such a cool feature and a shame it hasn’t been done since
Will the new nascar game be for ps4 and ps5 and will there be new sponsors and will there be contracts for career mode and will they put the regular schedule back in the way it was
So it's just me I think but I wanna have a full on conversation with my spotter like its voice recordings that will react with the specific responses from what we(the drivers) say to me that will be cool
@@akiravskira there should be the ability to hear the other drivers on track as well(think back to early 2000’s when the drivers could openly chat via radio with each other)which would make for enjoyable(?) chaos in online but nostalgia in career mode

I think they need the trucks and Xfinity series in career mode, also need the qualifying races for Daytona, and the All Star Race. If you want a true Nascar game then include everything for everyone
A thing that I really want, are ai crashes, and ai blowovers, bc I’m playing heat 5 a car is turned around doesn’t catch air, but I’m turned around, not even fully around and bam sent to the moon

They need some sort of safety ratings or when you are in career you can be fined for reckless driving or not be able to upgrade your car because you had to spend your cash on repairs.
My dream NASCAR Game is a game that doesn't just focus on the modern era, obviously still have it. but also focus on other eras of NASCAR, going on dirt tracks with ford coupes and hudsons, to dodge daytonas, late models, and the modern era. And please, please have a at least somewhat realistic damage model
My desired feature is asphalt feeder series' that you start on and graduate into trucks and above. I'm not a dirt racing fan so I think it would be cool to have the Junior series be NASCAR asphalt modifieds or asphalt Super Latemodels
I disagree about the paint booth, it needs to be FULLY customizable. They can have preset schemes if people wanted to use those but we need to be able to create our own paint schemes, numbers, and sponsors
Definitely agree thr game needs real world stats and drivers retiring like back in the thunder series! I also agree on race intros like we had back in the day but i think they should be even more detailed. What i dont agree on is fantasy tracks! I dont want some made up track in the game, nor a track that the cup series doesn't race on! Unless, through your career they introduced new tracks like in real life, yhat would be cool.
The biggest thing for me personally.....NO UNITY ENGINE.....that engine is garbage for graphics and limits the physics heavily. I personally hope they bring the iRacing engine over or use UE5 for the base engine. I wanna see chrome foil numbers actually shine and chrome rims return. I want a game that looks like NASCAR 21 but plays like iRacing. The NASCAR HEAT games feel very dated and held back by the unity engine. The iRacing engine would be perfect since it can run on pretty much anything, but UE5 would just bring the game into the next generation and give a far more immersive experience than unity or even the iRacing engine can give currently.
Signed or own custom driver be cool. Hyped it's in Unreal Engine. Played a Nascar way back. Many racing since. Biggest number one #1 is that it needs to be intermediate with variables .......damage.....settings, physics, controls, etc... #1 Damage system has to be forgiving in certain situations over deadly in game, vs totally realistic. It is a console/pc game. Game isn't fun without damage done properly....ai assisted, outcome scenarios whatever....variables.
I'd like to add a couple things I'd like to see in the 2025 new game. The damage model is not that great in iRacing or in Nascar Heat 5. I remember in Nascar 2003 the damage model was amazing, so much that if you were racing side by side and you taped the car next to you he would now show a donut ring of the drivers tire mark. The damage model now is terrible with iRacing and Nascar Heat 5....I can go to the pits...repair my car and it's looks brand new again...I mean if you want realism then fix the car but show there is still damage. I also liked in Nascar 2003 that when cars in front of you blew an engine...oil would hit your windshield dirtying it up and you would have to pit to get a tear-off of your windshield. I mean these are important little things that just make racing more real.
If there's no other series, I'm out lol. The cup series is the worst series right now and that limits options for progression. I'd rather just keep playing the older games at that rate.
No the paint booth needs to be completely customizable! Just like 2015! Ignition 21 was good but it didn't have enough shapes and logos! If the paint booth is only made up of preset schemes the game is already failing! There needs to be rear view mirrors, realistic wreck's, drafting that is realistic, AI that is competitive and AI that honestly spin out and wreck a little more often and who can also receive DNFs just like you! Everything you can do on the main page you should be able to do in career mode or more! Damage should look realistic an there needs to be more detailed stats and a history of your past season. Really the only series that should be in the game is ghe cup series! Honestly who the heck wants to race in any of the lower series anyway.
I agree, they have to have a fully customizable paint booth, not only for race now but to use custom cars in career mode. I loved how you could create your own number and/or sponsors in nascar 15. Customization in video games is really fun
All NASCAR games need more creativity be able to make the cars the way you want them not be stuck with some stupid paint scheme that you don't want also you should be able to create a new track if you want to and be able to drive cars that no longer are in NASCAR like the Dodge Intrepid or even the Ford Fusion I have been a Nascar fan since 1965 my favorite NASCAR game is NASCAR 98 but it had no creativity we need more creativity in the game if you want to make the best NASCAR game you need to put more creativity in the game and be able to bring back all of the race tracks that Nascar has ever driven on no matter what my favorite race track that I have never raced on in a game is Riverside International Raceway it is my favorite track it is where I became a Nascar fan don't only focus on the cup series I think we should start in the Arca Menard series and work are way to the next series
I totally disagree with you about this game be focused on young players. Sorry i don’t believe Nascar games should be developed to attract 8 year old kids. Nascar games should attract adults its adults who are nascar fans. This is a Sim game not some Mario kart Spongebob racing arcade game. Let kids play their Mario Kart games Nascar gaming should be strictly for adults that means alcohol and tobacco paint schemes like we saw in recent games with the Bush light car Miller lite and Miller genuine draft car. crashes with realistic damage realistic wrecks and rivalries. Sorry but Nascar isn’t Nickelodeon or Disney. Nascar games should be developed strictly for adults. All some 8 year old kid is going to do is run his car backwards on the track with the caution flag and penalty flags turned off and wreck all the cars like he’s playing Wreckfest and most people playing multiplayer online are 8 year old kids who’s only reason to play this type of game is to wreck everyone else on the track. This game should only be developed for adults who are serious Nascar fans not just some dumb 8 year old gamer noob who has no knowledge about the sport of nascar
Nascar ignition 21 was a bad game and should have not been made until they got all the game developed right and made sure there were no bugs in the game 😡
Since they are talking about the game being more sim than arcade, I'd say we should see setups over a paint booth. But the current paint booth on iracing is perfect for people who don't have photoshop skills, and uploads for people that do.

I agree, they have to have a fully customizable paint booth, not only for race now but to use custom cars in career mode. I loved how you could create your own number and/or sponsors in nascar 15. Customization in video games is really fun
no membership is my wish for this
All NASCAR games need more creativity be able to make the cars the way you want them not be stuck with some stupid paint scheme that you don't want also you should be able to create a new track if you want to and be able to drive cars that no longer are in NASCAR like the Dodge Intrepid or even the Ford Fusion I have been a Nascar fan since 1965 my favorite NASCAR game is NASCAR 98 but it had no creativity we need more creativity in the game if you want to make the best NASCAR game you need to put more creativity in the game and be able to bring back all of the race tracks that Nascar has ever driven on no matter what my favorite race track that I have never raced on in a game is Riverside International Raceway it is my favorite track it is where I became a Nascar fan don't only focus on the cup series I think we should start in the Arca Menard series and work are way to the next series
Racing in vr
2 words….. DAMAGE MODEL
I dont agree with the first one bit everything else is good
Bruh just cup series would be boring
Preach!

No unlock tracks, cars etc . When the game is bought everything should be there none of this unlock crap.
And NO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Need more of the garage side. Set ups wind tunnel. And paint department.
Since they are talking about the game being more sim than arcade, I'd say we should see setups over a paint booth. But the current paint booth on iracing is perfect for people who don't have photoshop skills, and uploads for people that do.
So why is it going to be on PC if iRacing has Nascar. I'm sorry but PC doesn't deserve this Nascar 2025 game doesn't deserve to be on steam.
