There are many components to cutting costs during cruise trips. One plan I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Arack ship tips (check it out on google) it's the no.1 plan that I've heard of.Check out all the incredible information .
By far this is some ofthe best info out there for frequent cruisers. I absolutely love the Sea days. All services open aboard and much more fun for me and cheaper to boot.
Thanks for watching my video! I am live Monday to Friday talking about cruise ships and cruise vacations at 5pm et and Saturday at 2pm et. Drop by and say Hi. Bruce
10 months ago, I was trolling on the Vacations to Go website and found a super deal on a 16 night repositioning cruise with Holland America from Ft. Lauderdale to Amsterdam for $810.00, including port fees and taxes. That was for 2 people with a $200.00 onboard credit for each of us! The neat thing about VTG is that if you hover your mouse on the prices, sometimes it will bring up special Mariner Rates for Mariner members that sail with HAL which is what I did. Now this is for a Guaranteed inside cabin which is the lowest category. Next, I found an 11 night cruise to Norway, also on a HAL ship, but this time I booked a balcony cabin, classified as obstructed, but between 2 lifeboats for $2,188.00, including taxes and port fees. and we both have an I had originally booked these 2 cruises because the 1st cruise ended where the 2nd one started on the same day. In the interim, they switched the departure port to Rotterdam. So we have to transfer from one to the other Aran additional cost of $58.00. So we have a 27 day back to back vacation for $3,056.00. Factoring in the
We've cruised the Zenith. It's an ex RCL ship, one of their best when it was built. Older, but refurbished. Not a glorified ferry at all - just a sweet deal!
That particular website is great to locate the cruises; however their discounted prices tend to be higher than anyboby else...Shop around once you see something you like.
Exactly how to find good deals on repositioning cruises. Exactly the website I use. I also like to sort by price per day. A little correction: Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel Island, is the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal.
So far I've repoed from San Juan to NJ on Celebrity, Tampa to Baltimore on Carnival, and down the pacific coast on Hal. LOVE THEM! Next I have Tokyo to Vancouver, San Diego to Vancouver, and Montreal to FL.
Continued from above: Factoring in the gratuities for 27 nights at $16.00 pp., that comes to $864.00. We have $800.00 total for the 2 of us, which pretty much pays for the gratuities. So we are sailing for 27 nights for $3,120.00 or $115.00 for both of us. We have a returning flight through Scandinavian Airlines for $775.00 for both and our4 week vacation come in at under 4K with meals, cabin, entertainment and the light home.
Thank you for this informative intro. topic. A travel manager once told me about a repositioning cruise when I didn't know much in 2005. Fast forward to early 2023, I finally know about this traveling method. I really like to visit Marseille via this method as a 1st-time cruise ship passenger but I still couldn't past the scammer's cleverness in general. Another fear is still in me after I watched a movie on TV years ago on Poseidon Adventure that was more realistic than Titanic. 🤔

Hi Kathryn! Thanks for your comment, yes I have come a long way since I made this video. No more shaking videos I can assure you. Join me live Monday to Friday at 5pm et and Saturday at 2 pm et. Thanks, Bruce
Great video Bruce! a lot of good information. When you book through VTG, do you have to pay for the whole trip upfront or can you pay monthly. Also, are these types of cruises advertised on the cruise lines website?
You can pay a deposit first depending on how far in advance you are booking the cruise. I would check them about further payment dates etc. These cruises are of course the same actual cruises that the ship lines operate, but the marketing is different between them. I always compare the ship line prices to VTG prices to see the difference.
Don’t leave out the 13 day cruises. I believe Odessa is doing 13 in Oct. Where they get you on these is the prices for drinks, internet, specialty dining, etc. Those are outrageous.
Hi Tento! Food is included with your cruise from the main dining room, the buffet area, and the main pool deck also usually has food available during sea days like pizza hotdogs fries etc. You can also order food via room service. Some of the restaurants on board are extra as they are specialty restaurants. Regular coffee, tea, milk, and assorted juices are also included. Soda is extra and so are specialty coffees and alcholic drinks. These repositioning cruises are a great deal. You can easily take the whole cruise without buying any food or drinks on board while on the cruise. Join me Monday to Friday at 5pm et and Saturdays at 2pm et for live discussions about cruise ships and cruise holidays. Thanks, Bruce

Are there any deals for solo cruisers on these repositionings?
I booked a repositioning cruise for April 2023 to use up Future Cruise Credits, this one from FLL to Rome. 14 days.
We did Miami to Barcelona in April, 2018. Great value
Great idea, first time I've heard of it, thanks!

Some of my favorites are the older videos! Boy have you grown as far as the equipment goes! No more tired arms for you. You still need a ring light.
Thanks for the info and showing how-to... cool!

That's not been my experience.
Exactly how to find good deals on repositioning cruises. Exactly the website I use. I also like to sort by price per day.
A little correction: Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel Island, is the capital of the Azores archipelago of Portugal.
Ponta delgada is part of the Azures.

I looked at a repositioning cruise, great opportunity, but flight back is obscene because it's one way.
Those darn flights home can be a pain.....Bruce

Thanks for clarifying "repositioning cruises". I thought they were when you started in a balcony cabin and ended up in the ocean.
Ponta Delgada is not in the Canarys, it's in the Azores.
My bad
