That 2 door is gorgeous!! I love the body lines and the over all look! They had me until they made it electric. Give me the hemi and that body, winner!!
They will have the inline 6 option next year, but a muscle car needs 8 cylinders and the sound! The sound and vibration of the engine just asking for the pedal to meet the carpet! It's all just feels like the 80s and 6 cylinder cars. Only plus is v6 motors making 300+ hp.
I like the blue R/T the best. I would even look at an entry level S or ST model. I also would take a hard look at one with smaller less bolstered seats more on the cushy side. They would open up the interior space more. And probably make entry and exit easier. A 2000 or 3500 pound tow package would be nice so you can yank around smaller utility trailers or toy trailers. Not looking to tow big trailers better suited for a truck here. What I want is a stylish good looking comfortable American looking and made CAR! Not an SUV or truck! You know, like cars you now only get from Kia, Hyundai, Honda or Toyota.

Can't wait to see more, this is the only chance to keep the Brotherhood happy, but I'm an EV person, so I'm already overjoyed that theres an 800V platform (but upset we are getting 400V as bade for some reason)
I'm pretty shocked at how many options they have on this thing! AWD on a straight 6 with 4-doors and the classic coke-bottle style, I'm game! That thing will be mine! I have an 11-14 AWD and this thing looks like a worthy successor to me.
I just checked out someone's video from a year ago to hear the sound they had for the electric Charger at the time. Looks good from the back and rear 3/4, falls apart once you get to the side profile and front end. Looks bland and a bit generic. Reminds me of an unlicensed "American musclecar" option in a video game.
Glad to see I won't have to settle for a slow, expensive, unreliable ICE motor. The hatchback and four doors and big interior space make it a Model S competitor for utility and hopefully speed. Would love to see a wagon/Magnum version!

@@calebpittman7444 why would you turn it off? It's like adding a 2nd brake pedal to the steering wheel, for reasons?
@@thedopplereffect00 every single car with it has the ability to turn it off
@@calebpittman7444 it's still making an EV pretend to be a gas car. It's way easier to drive one pedal
Gorgeous cars. The good thing is they will be an ICE option for whoever doesn’t like electric. Good job Stellantis!
Their turning dodge into a luxury brand. That’s not good for anyone
Any company that thinks making a really loud car specifically for the people who are not in the car should be subject to a TikTok challenge where their tires are slashed. This, of course, goes for gas as well.
You have been noted
Needs v8 with awd and swichable rwd
That 2 door is gorgeous!! I love the body lines and the over all look! They had me until they made it electric. Give me the hemi and that body, winner!!
Said that many times already. But this is now Stellantis, so they don't care to configure for the customers. Self destructive to the Dodge brand.
@@WW-wf8tu the only way the hemi comes back is if they redesign it. Its neither stallantis nor dodges fault. They never met emissions
Looks like a ford fusion
Anybody know the weight of the ICE variant?
No Hemi no mopar.
That blue green color is incredible
The hurricane v6 is already having problems
The sound feature is completely unnecessary.
I will never drive an electric ANYTHING!
I really like it actually, good on them for making them fastback, that's the way to help keep sedans/coupes relevant.
Also, make the dumb fratzonic thing optional please.
It can be turned off but I get your point. I kinda want it, but also kinda don't.
@@casualgamer1209 Yeah I just don't want to have to pay for something physical in the car like that that I'll never use lol. I understand why they did it though.
Love the car! Great styling. Fake noise not so sure.
Ok ill take one with a v8 and rwd, why would they stop making an engine that people buy?
I know I'm going to be hated on in replies, but I actually like the Daytonas/EVs. the passive radiators sound like a neat way to replace an exhaust with something just a loud, and if 800V is on ore than just Banshee, I guess it will be far more popular than the 400V models because of more power, faster charging, etc. Plus, it still gets (hopefully for the price) good range at around 300 miles on R/T. Can't wait to see more, this is the only chance to keep the Brotherhood happy, but I'm an EV person, so I'm already overjoyed that theres an 800V platform (but upset we are getting 400V as bade for some reason)
LOOK HOW BIG A HELLCAT BOOT IS
I’m excited to see them in person
I'm pretty shocked at how many options they have on this thing! AWD on a straight 6 with 4-doors and the classic coke-bottle style, I'm game! That thing will be mine! I have an 11-14 AWD and this thing looks like a worthy successor to me.
HELL YEAH!!! 💯 🔥 Same here, I will always keep my 10' Charger SRT8 but this is the electric 4 door I've been waiting for!
Can I buy the 11-14?
These cars weight more than your house.lol.good luck with tires.😂😂
I just checked out someone's video from a year ago to hear the sound they had for the electric Charger at the time. I like from your video that I see I could fit a set of golf clubs plus more in the back. I have a rental electric car currently while my car is getting repaired, and I've enjoyed the experience, so my next car may be a Dodge Charger Electric car... (when repairs or gas gets too pricey on my current car)
OH WOW MY CAR HAS LIGHTS TOO ITS NOT A SELLER 5800 LBS TOO HEAVY WITH NO V8
Those are awesome. I love the styling. My interest is peaked! I’m happy that you guys got to show it to us. Be well.
Looks good from the back and rear 3/4, falls apart once you get to the side profile and front end. Looks bland and a bit generic. Reminds me of an unlicensed "American musclecar" option in a video game.
I can't wait to see this tear it up!
The cars look good (surprisingly) and I cant wait to see the youtube community restoring order by installing actual scat pack engines in them.
But will they be able to use the Tesla Supercharging Network?
Yes
Yes, NACS support is planned for all Stellantis EVs, and I really hope range-extended models like Ramcharger.
I love that big red light going around the interior vehicle.
Love the orange one
Glad to see I won't have to settle for a slow, expensive, unreliable ICE motor. The hatchback and four doors and big interior space make it a Model S competitor for utility and hopefully speed.
Would love to see a wagon/Magnum version!
That's like saying you prefer a digital Casio watch because a Rolex is too complicated
Why the wait for the one with a gas motor? Why don't put both on sale at the same time?
They wanna see how the ev will do
@@That_CRF450RI can get on board with that reasoning. I just wonder if they will have a change of heart now that the EV sales have slowed or go through with it?
@@ksorsomeplaceEV demand is actually higher than it's ever been, but brand are trying to save money. Did you see how much reservations were put on R2?
@@casualgamer1209 No, I did not see how many reservations were put on the R2. The R2 is not a vehicle I desire. Not that attractive. How many more SUV type vehicles does the market need?
@@ksorsomeplaceI undestand that, but SUVs are the way the markets going because legal reasons and consumer intrest. But, about 70,000 people reserved in a DAY and that shows interest. Dosen't matter if it's for you, but it shows a lot of people are excited.
250 miles on a charge...heard it cost about 5000 to set up electric plug in at home😮
I like how it has that old "General Lee" style of design . The 4 door one really reminds me of the "General Lee" because of the color and design look.
Thank you! first video I've seen that tried the back seat! The main reason i have a dodge charger is for the 4 door, if i want 2 door i would have gotten the challenger
Another EV that won't sell.
I currently own a 2016 Dodge Charger Hemi R/T and will NEVER buy another Charger because I will never own an EV car. Just stupidity by Chrysler.
So 30 years from now do you think you gonna drive a gas car get real … not saying you won’t own a gas car but electric is happening if we want it or not
I like it. Put a battle flag on it!
V8 gas is what it should be!!! I refuse to buy electric!
This is how Dodge went from Metallica to Manilow....btw great timing now that the EV market is cratering...
You don't know jack about the production so leave it to the pros ya ?
These cars are made for rich people that joy ride a few miles an the weekend 😅😅😅
The ONLY good thing or likeable thing about it is the metalic paint. Stunning. Other than that, EVERYTHING is worse. It looks worse. Its a stupid EV, and its just awful. Whats dodge known for? Electrical issues. So them making an EV will be a disaster.
I know this isn't a production model but I really hope that Stellantis is going to use higher quality carpet, or at the very least improve the workmanship. At 2:54, you'll notice a prime example of where Stellantis quality is not up to snuff.
put a v8 back in it...
Remember way back last year when charger was a bad ass muscle car. Be happy you were here for those times, because they are now just history
8:20 my people from the hood they are going to love this idea 8:22
Facts 😅😂😂
I was just thinking this is gonna be THE getaway car now 😂 I cant wait to see the clips
This would be cool with a super charged V8.
Also, a loud electric car just sounds like a stupid concept.
They better get the ICE version to market quick.
If the EV versions don't sell well right off the bat, I imagine the ICE timeline will move up Quickly-
No one wants the EV charger they can’t even sell the 2023s
there weren't any 2023's what are you talking about.
@@garyagentg yes there was
They lost out to the FORD mustang for police work state troopers in the North Carolina South Carolina and Georgia are going with mustangs
Why do I have a feeling that 2025 is going to be similar to 1973 when all the good muscle cars changed regardless of the gas shortage situation lol 😂
