    If RDLs with straight legs hit the stretched hamstring, why not do a lying leg curl to hit the contraction. You preach that for hack squat (stretched) and leg ext (contracted).

    Whenever I do seated leg curls, I feel like I have to push my self back (really pushing against the pad with both hands), because when I go really heavy, my butt is pushed up or even forward. Am I going too heavy? Because it feels like my hamstrings could manage the load effectively, if I wish completely locked in position

      he will most likely respond with “whichever one works best with you”. There is no best split.
