Wait....when you open a new diaper box you fill it with clutter to donate!!!!! THIS IS FREAKING GENIUS!!!!! the baby clothes the toys the JUNK!!!! I'm adopting this idea!!
Donated three bags of comforters and clothes. I started watching your videos awhile back and gave me that kick start to declutter my home..Thanks for sharing your videos!!
This is such a wonderful idea. I just recently moved after being in a home for 3 yrs and couldn’t believe how much clutter I had accumulated-I ended up tossing/donating almost 20 industrial sized trash bags of stuff and it really highlighted for me the importance of decluttering on a regular basis to avoid that kind of pile up ever again. I also have a toddler in diapers, so this tip will really work for me.
Thank you for donating. It is one of the easiest Random Acts of Kindness anyone can do. We all have something to pass on. It means a lot to people who find your gently used items and treasure them. Plus, they Don't rot in a landfill or your house. Plus, when people shop thrift or re-shops it saves those items from being remade. ❤❤❤
Ayeee i just finished packing out one diaper box full today, and cracked open the biggest mega box yet tonight, so im down to empty it out and fill it up again tomorrow! ❤ Thank you for this idea!
I get so excited when your videos pop up!! You have inspired me to finally go through crap I have had for way to long!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your great box idea!! Really helped me alot!!
You’re so sweet, thank you!! ♥️ I’m so happy to know that these videos are having such a positive impact on others. Decluttering is so essential for our lives and mental health! ♥️
@@chicpeachaf You are Welcome!! I agree with you my mental health is blah been blah for a long while and the clutter and mess is part of it. So glad you make your videos it has made a big impact on me! So Thank you girlie!💜
I’m so trying this starting today!! I am always so overwhelmed by the mess in our home and it’s because we have accumulated too many things! Will be donating to my favorite local thrift store 😊
This is helping me heal. My family was a "keep everything" family so I feel so bad when I get rid of stuff. Even if its those 3 year old shower hooks. Imma make a box to donate after the holidays.
I’m so happy to hear this! Decluttering is still hard for me too at times, especially when my anxiety is high like it is now. Just remember that baby steps are progress too!
I need to start doing this. Thinking of doing a whole garage sale since we've downsized from a 6 bedroom to living with my parents while he finishes college and now we're about to be in our own place again, but smaller than we had before so definitely need to downsize majorly, especially because the kids have gone up in size so we've just been collecting clothes. This will come in handy to downsize after we get rid of the big load!
Garage sales are awesome, if they work for you. Unfortunately, where we live, we can only do garage sales certain parts of the year. So in the colder or the extra hot months, donating is our best option. ♥️
It looks like there is already plenty of space for a lot of candles while still having room to move them to get to the ones at the back. It's good to have a set limit to the amount of space that you're prepared to dedicate to things like smelly candles because it can be easy to end up with a lot more of them than you're ever reasonably likely to use
Do this 2x a month and you will be shocked how your mind changes on things month to month. During a big purge, you might see things and you want to keep but checking in with yourself every month with another box making sure you still need it will really helpful because you might not want it in a few months. If you do a purge once a year you won’t realize you didn’t want something for the last 6 months and are just now donating it.
Save the makeup bags... we use some for charger cord organizers for each person and in the cars. For small toys etc. I also keep old table cloths for kids projects. And for picnics.
This is old but for anyone that doesnt know... if your feet get bigger with pregnancy and it only a size or under, fill a regular baloon with water and tie off leaving a little air. Tuck it into the foot of the shoe and chuck it in the freezer. Thaw and remove. Shoe streched. Saved 3 pairs that way after my oldest. My Nana taught me.
Sometimes I go in spurts!! It also depends on how full my house is and how overwhelmed I feel. Once baby no.2 arrives, we’ll have a lot of diaper boxes to fill and get rid of!
@@chicpeachaf , Awww! Enjoy every moment with yr bundles of joy..I did this approach. In fact, I did this this morning while I was making tea..I cleared out unnecessary things..Thx keep yr great content going..
