I forgot to mention the parking lot. In order to get to the front gate, you need to walk quite a while. It's not a deal breaker but it is kind of an annoyance.
As someone who has visited Discovery Kingdom throughout my life an uncountable number of times, I also avoid Kong. It’s not a bad ride in terms of thrills, but it WILL give you a big headache and make your neck hurt. It’s VERY painful and not worth the ride.
I live literally 10 mins away of a drive, and Vallejo, in general city wise, is bankrupt. They literally have to depend on another police county for help if a crime is reported. Hopefully, the park can still manage to hold out and still remain one of Vallejo greatest attractions.
operations have definitly improved over time, its still just young kids who need a job. But I feel like they are working harder as a whole. Also due to the fact that this park is starting to focus on coasters way more that they will care more, to make this park an upper mid tear park in the chain.
Well sometimes almost all the rides are open! Like today when I checked the app ( didn’t actually go there today) almost all the thrill rides were open! Even vertical velocity! Hope your visit is better next time
I find it so odd how enthusiastic praise Medusa but hate on Scream for being a parking lot coaster. Like... they're basically the same ride in the same location

There was a flat ride dedicated to animals to. It was a vertical booster type ride and it was doubled. And its called... Hamerhead Shark

I think its a great park! The only thing is the very expensive parking. Its like 40-50 dollars.

Its an ok park. We go there for medusa and joker (which is always down) another negative is its located in the ghetto.
We had a dreadful visit when we went last November... :(

My 3 musts when I go to Six Flag Vallejo:
1. Medusa
2. Wonderwomen (tho I am still scared of it)
3. Skyscreamer
I’ll be going on the 15th, hopefully the Zebra Shark is still there.
I am going on the same day and I am worried about the ride’s being closed

That’s true haha. Medusa is quite good nonetheless
Medusa is also much smoother compared to the nasty rattle Scream has. Last time going on Scream at Magic Mountain, I got a pretty nasty rattly ride.
