Coaster vloggers never give the back half of DK enough credit - there's a complete zoo back there. If you're older or have kids, it's awesome, but I get it. Young coaster dudes probably aren't going to care that their walkthrough butterfly experience is awesome...

I really like the park. It's one of 2 parks I call my home park (CGA being the other). Looking forward to returning here in less than a week. Joker is underrated imo. Like, it's a strong ride and is really fun.

Also it sucks how Flash was closed but honestly looks like the third or fourth best Ride in the Park
@@jrax1713 yes and they've gotten rid of a lot of the animal exhibits so it's very empty. For example the elephants are gone, and the shark exhibit is very empty now compared to how it used to be. It's pretty sad.

I just went today and 3 coasters plus both water rides and a bunch of other stuff was closed(6/26/24 and 80 degrees f btw)
The only credit I got going here as a kid was riding "Roar" before it had an rmc conversion. I'll have to come back to ride the Joker too

Honestly you got really lucky to get on all the coasters because of how frequent most of them are closed
They have really really short lines tho. Like once i rid Medusa 5 times in a row because there was like 5 people in line

kong is the only slc i've been on and i can't imagine one being worse. of the rmc's i've been on, i place joker ahead of iron rattler, which is big and has a cliff but is otherwise uninteresting.
What are your thoughts on straight drops on floorless coasters? Do they provide a different sensation, or is it generally the same as a normal drop? Btw great video
They’re pretty fun but don’t offer the airtime that you’d expect. for that reason, I don’t think it feels drastically different than the twisted drops force wise

Yea ride maintenance here is a joke. It was my home park for a while and my last time going there the rides haven’t been touched at all. They are getting worse and worse. Medusa has developed more of a rattle than it used to, feels like Superman kyrpton coaster at Fiesta. Kong hasn’t had new paint in over 15 years and looks like it’s hell.
I have seen lots of six flags but this I know this one but I was not very interested in this park the only thing I was interested in was the joker hybrid coaster

I went when I was very little, and only rode Kong and Cobra. Kong is my least favorite coaster!
i havent been on kong in about 5 years and im glad to not ride that ever again
This six flags dont even look like it's all that In California magic mountain is definitely all that in California in my opinion.
I was temporarily banned from D.K. back in 02 for beating the dog shit out of a 6'6 bully who decided to throw a soda on me because he thought shit was sweet & he didn't care much about his jawbone!

Or Mind Eraser at America, I hear nothing but bad things about that SLC more than the other ones out there.
