👁️My ICL Update after 2 Years - How are my eyes? 💁♂️

- It's been 2 years since I last did my ICL operation in 23 December 2023, time sure fly. So far, everything is ok and I have really clear vision for my daily life-I have no complaints whatsover.
I seldom use eyedrops, maybe once a month when my eyes are dry. Other than that, no other eyedrops or medication needed at all. To me, ICL is the best thing I have ever spent my money on and I don't regret it at all.

Thanks very much i ve done my Icl operation for my right eye and everything is ok I'm so happy wish me luck for the left eye
hey i hope u doing well ! can i ask you if you could see clearly since day one ? as a friend of mine done it 4 days ago and he still cannot see 100% well it . its like he went from -14 . to -7?
Yo I just icl 1 week in not gonna lie it crazy how I can see so clearly everything is nicer lol thanks again ur videos helped me relax a bit! Also when were u able to get water in eyes after icl
Hey there! Congrats on your ICL! ✨
I think after a few days then you can slowly let water touch the eyes, depending on your doctor!
Hey, thanks for making this update! I got ICL done roughly 6 weeks ago. I see halos and rings around light sources, and yes it’s worse at night. My question is- when do you think they started “disappearing” for you? I don’t want to live with them forever haha
Hey there! Congrats on your ICL! Well.... The doctor told me that ring lights and halos will be there indefinitely because of light refraction in the lens in the eye....I would say maybe after a year it will be less obvious.... Depends on your eye condition!
Will there be any side effects if u choose to take the lenses out?
Got my ICL yesterday ❤
Quality of life stonks 📈
How do you feel?
Update plz how is it now?
Updates please
3 months later...
Hello! Can you please provide the information: in which clinic you had the operation in and who was your surgeon? I am very afraid of complications after this operation. I am ready to have surgery abroad. I hope to find good qualified doctors. I find your story very inspiring. If it's not difficult, please share where you had the surgery 🙏🙏 Thank you so much
Hey there, I did it in Malaysia, in KPJ Centre for Sight, at Petaling Jaya, with Dr. Choong Yean Yaw! This doctor has been my childhood eye specialist since I was 12, he also specialises in many optical medical procedures.
bro i want to ask that how is your night time vision contrast means is there any decrease in contrast or is even better than before and i also wanted to ask that can you read small letters like medical contents info on medicines
bottles
Hey there...I think generally when it's dark things are not very clear so I would need some light to read.....I definitely can't read anything small with dim light 😅 generally the contrast is the same as wearing glasses.
Do you think your night vision is as good as pre surgery? I had ICL 4 months ago and I see halos when my pupil extend the optical zone of the lens.
Hey there! I think my night vision was a tiny bit better with glasses at night, mostly because I didn't get the light halos or light rings.
I had the surgery abou 1 year ago and I see halos at night all the time. It's really annoying. I'm actually considering having them removed because I'm a night owl and I find it really disturbing.
So what explanation were you given for the halos and starbursts at night?
Hey there! The doctor mentioned that it is the refraction of light as it enters my eye and into the lens, and back into my inner eye....so it will depend on my eye shape and its relation to the lens...
I will do an ICL next week , the doctor told me that i will have some residual myopia, can i wear glasses even with ICL ( to work in front of laptop or to see better) some light glasses
Ofc you can. I had icl in nov 2023 and now I wear specs
What ?? Y u wear glasses?@@free_palestine786
Why wearing glassess now plz tell @@free_palestine786
Hai.. im just done my ICL last month. Left eye was completely good. But for my right eye, the lens is too small so it need to take out and replace for the larger lens. But they also cant guarantee it will suitable for my eye. So unlucky me :( anw, may i know where u do ur ICL? And with which doctor? Thanks for replying
Hey there, sorry to hear about your eye condition. I did my ICL at KJP Centre for Sight at Petaling Jaya in Malaysia, with Dr Choong Yean Yaw.
Lasik or ICL or SMILE??? WHICH ONE IS BETTER BROTHER? for power of -5.25 power
based on ur power the doc will probably recommend silk or lasik
Your age??
Are your eyes still dry in the mornings now? Thank you :)
Hey there! Yes sometimes they are dry and I put eye drops into them.... Not that often though
Which clinic did you go to in malaysia and how much was the total cost for the whole procedure?
Hey there! I went to KPJ Centre for Sight in Petaling Jaya, and the total cost was RM15k.
@@KevsWorld thanks for the reply Kev! :)
M also planning for ICL , there is no issue of night vision right
Please reply me bro
Hey there, for me there is not much issue other than the light flare or halos. Hope your ICL goes well! 🙏
