Quick Turnaround Practice With The BAMF 2

Quick turnarounds are one of the most exciting skills to learn for F3K glider competitions. Instead of landing the model on the ground or catching your glider, you catch your DLG by the blade and launch it back in the air... all in one fluid motion. There are two parts to a successful quick turnaround: 1. the timing, and 2. the body mechanics. Since there haven't been any competitions for the past year and a half and events are starting back up, today I am going to practice the first part... timing the approach.

Nice! I can now see why having airbrakes on a two-position switch is problematic for expediting the whole turnaround motion: Too little control over speed and too many things to fidget with :/
