🎶 Join me in the studio as I record "ADA," a track from my new album "JUPITER". This video captures the live performance of instrumental electronic chill music, blending the warm tones of the Squier baritone guitar with the sonic depth of Maschine Plus, Moog Mavis, and Moog Matriarch.
Ever since I quit playing rock I was looking for a way to combine my 30+ years of playing the guitars into some chill space vibes. This is my newest track called Ada, named after an American poet Ada Limón who wrote a poem for a JUPITER mission. A NASA's message in a bottle, for real.
Thank you for your ongoing support as I continue to share my musical explorations with you.
With gratitude and joy,
Caught In Joy

Thanks a ton! Keep chillin' and groovin', my friend! ✌️
Ah, already excited about "Jupiter"! And I've seen the new 2 CD set of "La Chica De La Playa" (I already had my eyes on the digital version, but I might go for CDs). I would highly recommend always offering the 2 CD bundle option (buying them as single CDs is expensive due to shipping costs added, as I found out with "Thank You, Ocean"), maybe also for some already existing 2 CD offerings.
Wow, thanks for the enthusiasm! Jupiter has got me buzzing too! As to bundling the CDs, you're absolutely right. Stupid me, just came out with this brilliant idea yesterday. :) Thanks for the support and for keeping my music on your radar. You're the best!

Hey there! 🌟 Thanks so much for checking out the video! Stay groovy! 😄
@@CaughtInJoy Thanks for sharing.
As always, LOVE LOVE LOVE what you do and delight in watching your new Studio Space come together! QUESTION: Although your Squier is listed as "Baritone", it is six as opposed to seven strings. However it appears you are using a heavier gauge on the Low E. Is this the case, have you de-tuned just Low E or are you using alternate tunings across the entire fretboard? Cheers, Mate!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that. I tune my baritones to B, so going from the top B-F#-A-E-B. Then I'm just transposing in my head when I'm playing. I love this voicing, maybe I played regular tunings for too long. BTW just watched a Beato's interview with Christopher Cross and he was very much inspired by Joni Mitchell's ideas who had a shitload of guitars in her house, every single one tuned differently and ready to discover new things. Which is what I plan to do next :)
Excellent. Some setup you have there. Do I see a little Mavis in the middle of it??
Thank you so much! Haha, you have a keen eye! Yes, that *is* Mavis making a cameo in the middle there. She just couldn't resist joining the jam! Appreciate the love! 🎸🎹✨
