- I travelled from the USA to the Philippines, and instead of simply using Japan as a connecting flight, I chose to extend my journey and explore Japan for 3-5 days. As a Green Card holder, I took advantage of the available e-visa, this is available to GC holders whether it was conditional or not.

Salamat sa tulong! Just to add on lang sa mga green card holder na mangagaling sa pinas papunta sa japan, upload your round trip USA to Philippines ticket with your philippines to japan tickets. Make sure to live a note so that they won't withdraw your visa application.

Thank you! I was going to mail my application 😬 Question, what did you put under "Issuing Authority" and "Place of Issue"? What it says on my passport is PE Washington for issuing authority. But what do I put for the place of issue? Is it Washington D.C.?
Mine was Chicago, so that's what I wrote. It's the one that's written on your passport.

It's free. I request a bank statement at my bank signed by them.
Once your visa is approved, can you change your itinerary?
you don’t have to do everything you have in ur itinerary. I believe it’s just so they know when you’ll be arriving there and that you have somewhere to stay. Your arrival date is when the visa becomes active.

Hi 2 months before yung flight ko papunta japan ako nag-apply ng visa just to be safe pero sabi Nila 90days naman daw validity ng visa so ginawa ko 60days before yung flight ko ako nag-apply.

Try uploading it via the CamScanner app, that's what I did.

As far as I know, if you're going outside the airport, you need visa eh.

@@carmelonoblefranca7417 It's optional and not required, like a supporting document. If it is required, the Japan embassy will let you know what you’re missing via email and put your application on hold. In my case, I just uploaded a dummy hotel booking, as it can be canceled anytime if needed.

Yes you can. That would make your husband the financial guarantor. So on your application, you need to send his bank statement, your marriage certificate, his passport, and his ID as well.

Is there a format po for the itinerary ?
I just Googled the itinerary and change the dates. Just search for how many days you're staying in Japan and sample itineraries for things to do.
Sis pa help naman po lage nalng ni rereturn ung application ko dahil blurry daw ung GC ko kasi pag upload ko naman gc pdf di na ako makapag upload ulit ng iba like ung gc extension ko kaya puro jpg upload ko ;( 15 times na ako nag apply 😭
Sis try mo yung cam scanner yun gamit ko pag upload ng PDF.

@@Najerafamilyadventure nice congrats 🎉! Asa bottom part yata yung instruction nyan or you can visit www.vjw.digital.go.jp as long yung status is approve ok ka na yung QR for custom and immigration purposes lang na meron din form nun sa airport. Congrats again!🎉🎉🎉
