I recently got one. Thanks for putting this together. It's a shame it won't work with the Fenix A320. The buttons work just no display output, (i know it's a Boeing CDU) Works really well with the FBW A320.
@@Rocky-zv1yk Yep, I have SPAD. I think the Fenix MCDU display data is licenced under Prosim or something. Rumours say they are going through an agreement process to let that data be used for hardware like this. There is hope.
Sure, I have a few videos to make over the next few weeks so maybe I'll include that. To be fair though, there are multiple videos on YT that show programming a CDU in a 737.
Nice video! I bought the same fmc from sismo as well. Hopefully it arrives today. What’s your opinion on it now that you’ve had the time to fiddle around with it.
I've flown with it about 6 times now and it's great! I'm not sure, but I think it's best to start the CDU once the sim has started and you have battery on in the aircraft. I do have a couple of little negatives, the big one being, that there is no paperwork with the product, nothing, zilch. Which I think is a bit of a 'mickey take' considering the cost of the item. There should at least be a leaflet thanking you for buying the product along with the website address etc. The other issue I have is that it was shipped with old firmware, so it wouldn't work initially, and there are no instructions where to get the firmware update, which is unforgiveable. I had to search online for 5-10 minutes before finding a link. Not a big deal but as I say, poor considering the price of the product. This may be helpful to you... www.cockpit-simulator.com/
@@skyhigh776 Thank you for sending the link. I saw it on the sismo website before I ordered it. Thankfully I’ve done the research beforehand. But You shouldn’t have to do that considering the price. As you said it would be nice if it came with some papers with a setup guide, or something similar. But otherwise the packaging looks premium from what I can se from your video.
There are several places. Aerosoft for example. I bought mine from Sismo: sismo-soluciones.com/index.php?id_product=595&rewrite=cockpitmaster-cs-737x-cdu&controller=product
Thanks for the explanation, but actually incorrect. While the unit has historically become known as the FMC, the FMC is the Flight Management Computer system itself, the CDU is the actual hardware, ie, the Computer Display Unit. The FMC is effectively controlled through the CDU.
Amazing setup, I know its expensive but I love the tactile button clicks and that its not just another extended montor.
Thank you for your comments about our products.
A pleasure...
brilliant

Hmm, I can't comment as I have never flown the Fenix. Do you have SPAD? It's my understanding that virtually anything can be configured through that.

Thanks greatful 😮
very cool! would be nice to have an update along with a video where you show a full flight being programmed or a full flight being flown!

Do they do a a320 autopiolt thars main thing i want and this thanks for sharing
Unsure, you'd have to do some research on the Sismo site and other similar sites.
Looks amazing, can I politely ask, did you have to pay import taxes?
Unsure what the taxes were, I think just VAT. The product was just short of £600 then I had to pay £125 for either import duty or VAT.
Sehr cool!
LN-NGM is a Norwegian aircraft :-D Greetings from 🇳🇴Norway🇳🇴 :-D :-D
👍👍👍
FMC not CDU
