As an autistic kid, this song resonated with me in a way other songs couldn’t. It really did feel like the rules were always changing, because I couldn’t understand them. It felt so great to be seen
Yeah I can agree with you I have ADHD and not good at making friends and have shyness and anxiety I always have trouble but I push though it tho it is a very good song I love this song.
I have always said that I miss the old Disney...usually I was just talking about the shows, the movies, the music... Then today, as I was listening to 2000s Disney music, I realized that I also missed the family aspect. Not just family aspects in the shows but outside of the television. I mean from the lates 90s to the early 2000s, Disney was just swarming with families. I mean you had the Jonas Brothers, Aly and Aj, Everlife, the Lawrence Brothers, the Sprouse twins, Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus and the list goes on. This was really the only time that Disney was actually a family network and I feel that that is what is truly missed. The fact that you grew up with family and got to see them grow up as well.
I agree with you, the network itself created such a family environment, especially during the early to mid 00s. In addition to all the people you listed, there was a lot of mingling among the actors from the different shows and movies, they really went out of their way to make sure everyone knew each other and formed friendships with people beyond the shows they were in. For example, Ricky Ullman from Phil Of the Future guest-starred on That's So Raven, and then Orlando Brown guest-starred on Phil Of the Future. Another example is the movie Hatching Pete, which starred Mitchel Musso from Hannah Montana, Jason Dolley from Cory In the House, Tiffany Thornton from Sonny With a Chance, and Brian Stepanek from Suite Life (he played Arwin). I even saw this cool video last month from PopStar Online's youtube channel, and it was for the Sprouse Twins' 16th birthday bash, and so many Disney Channel stars were there. Obviously their costars Brenda Song, Debby Ryan, and the guy who played Woody, but also Alyson Stoner, Moises Arias, Madison Pettis (Sophie from Cory In the House), Roshon Fegan, Brian Stepanek, and I'm pretty sure Selena Gomez was there too. Even the twins went to Kyle Massey's 18th birthday party, as did David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, and a bunch of other people. There was also the Disney Channel Games, which was also really fun to watch.
Yes yes yes u r telling the truth both of u guys know how it was back then I love old Disney channel shows and movies I just got done watching the whole Phil of the future series and now I'm on even Stevens and then I am going to watch Lizzie McGuire and others I love the points both of u brought up thank u now someone else gets what I have been trying to say all theses years.
Oh, yes, Julia Ross. It's rare for Sarah (the middle sister) Ross or especially Amber (the oldest) Hezlep* to sing a solo. *Amber is married to a man named Jeremy Hezlep... at least the last time I recall being the case.
Guys I know what you mean that's why we have Disney + now I was just watching Phil of the future and even Stevens on there it is like all the memories just flowing back in and u remember it like it was yesterday
I miss when girl bands sounded like this. Now most girl singers literally all sound the same, sing about sex and failed relationships and I can’t tell them apart...I miss the old days. So happy I can relive them with Disney+!
This song was on my MP3 player and I remember listening to it a ton! Not too long after I got my MP3 it completely crashed and it wouldn't turn back on. It would be weird to see what else I listened to when I was 10!
24 and still resonate with me now. Having ADHD tryna make friends, dating, stuff is a challenege for me not everyone can get that same thing that everyone else can get. I know i need to try but its a difficult thing not knowing if you say something wrong or right at least you tried your best.
this is what I call GREAT, RELATEABLE, RESPECTFUL, NON-SLUTTY music :) this brings me back to when disney wasn't whack and they knew what REAL music is.. ;)
OMG this girls are soo beautifulls, they are too hotttttt, they are like angels!!!!, and the voice of the lead singer omggggg, her voice is like form an angel
These girls are sisters. None of them are related to Miley. You're thinking of Brandi (Miley's sis) but she wasn't in this band,it was just these sisters. :)
Rare for Disney to have good songs like this one. Disney is such a vapid and cut-throat corporation now. So, I've stopped wasting money on Disney. But I will say this song sends a good message. It's not promoting rose-colored glasses. But it's not telling you to give up at the same time. So, there's a good balance in this song.
The time when Disney kept making figure skating movies
lol
This was the only good one 😂
@@DuskPShermanWallaby123 Ice Princess. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Anyone else remember Disney 411? Just me?

Rachael Daley This was 2004 though
I heard it in 2008. Duh
Most of my research points to 2005 anyways.
Either way, it looked like you were saying it came out in 2008, not 2004 or 2005. So....
Why do you care? Are you doing quality assurance for Disney?
